Never mind: it's the tank system like the eg-T's use that so many people have been .....ing about, right?
Yep, it's an atty with a special little tank - the eGo-Ts & eGo-Cs use them. I have 2 of the eGo-T atties & a bunch of the tanks if you want to send those to your mom, too - the atties have been used for maybe 2 days each of light vaping, because I just couldn't stand it (but Luv loves her Cs!)
What exactly couldn't you stand? I've heard all sorts of stories of them leaking, etc.
BTW, just got off the phone with Mom. She's smoke-free today, and she definitely describes a tightness in her chest when she vapes. I told her in the short run, to be like Bill Clinton and don't inhale, lol.
If you want to get rid of them, I'll definitely try them out.

On a completely unrelated topic: how do y'all handle flying with your vaping stuff? I'm flying home in 2 weeks to celebrate my birthday and am currently planning on only taking my V2 and case, with some refill cartridges in my bag. I'm not convinced the TSA would appreciate little bottles of stuff they don't know.

Looks good, but did you use kidney beans? The color doesn't look exactly right.
And if that's the rice floating in the middle, you definitely need more of it.

Yeah I did use kidney beans.. but like I said, I soaked them overnight and this morning they were nicely puffed up but all the red color was gone.. I've never had that happen!! Darn Walmart beans! I put a bunch more rice in and taste tested it, and other than needing a touch more salt, it's pretty darn good!!! And it's got a nice little KICK.. I think I need some good cornbread to go with it.. and now I gotta find some good containers for the freezer.. Thanks Reidus.. good recipe!! I've tried to make this stuff many times since I visited the market in New Orleans and never had much luck.. this one's GOOD! You girls need to try it! It's pretty easy too..
Sent my order to Cheeky.. and now I gotta drag out all the juice I likely won't use and place my own little add on the classys! I really do have a bunch.. and now more on the way. I guess the thing is,, I know what I really like now,, so might as well just get rid of the stuff I know I won't use. What a HUGE learning curve this whole business is.
I've wondered about the flying thing too.. cuz someday I'm gonna have to hop a plane, either to Florida or Vegas Mythus,, hubby will be in Denver that week that you're in Vegas so it would have been PERFECT!!! Except I can't afford it.. And I did price a plane ticket.. just not in the cards right now. And hubby thinks I've absolutely lost my tiny little pea brain to even CONSIDER meeting someone I don't know in Vegas... WHAT?? Waddya mean I don't know her?? Of course I know her!! (heehee). Screw that, I love an adventure! Can't do it right now though..
Speaking of adventures.. hubby and K-man are off on another adventure.. they've gone to the river to throw some rocks and hang out. The baby is asleep so it's quiet around here (for the moment!) That'll end soon enough!

Oh Reidus.. I meant to ask.. have you looked at maybe getting your mom some CE3s? I'm having really good luck with them and there's no filler in them to bother your mom's lungs. As long as you fill them correctly they work beautifully! I've got two running right now and I cleaned one and will fill that one back up later. I'm pretty impressed so far.
I didn't have any problems with leaking, it just wasn't as pleasant for me as cartos/tanks or dripping

Do a search of the forum, and you'll come up with a few threads - it seems that the TSA is familiar with vape gear, and it hasn't been much of a problem, just don't keep your PV next to any organic material, as the combination seems to set off some kind of warning bell for bombs (or something like that). Quite a few people have flown with PVs, including internationally with no real issues (though they sometimes have to demo for the TSA & give them info on where to buy lol)
My preferred way to store homemade soups, etc in the freezer is in quart (or gallon) size ziplock baggies - freeze them flat, and they will take up very little room in the freezer, can be stacked, or lined upright (after they've already frozen). Plus, the quart sizes are perfect for 2-4 servings

Cornbread definitely works great with this. RE the kick: did you use my recipe for the creole seasoning or did you find some at the store? I've tried 3 different brands of "creole seasoninig" in the store and found their heat level to be all over the place. And Cheeky's right; I always use freezer bags. If filling them's a problem, let me share a trick I learned: Find a container (I have an empty canister that is perfect) and wrap the edges of the freezer bag around it. It's now very simple to fill the bag.
Cheeky's right; hold on for a few weeks, until the new LT is no longer the next great thing.
Reidus.. Gotvapes Phoenix is a CE3,, I got mine a tad cheaper at Discount Vapors. Go to DV and search CE3 and you'll see them. They're a bottom coil clearo,,, and now they're coming out with a top coil design too. I've tried other top coil design clearos and didn't like them.. they all leaked no matter what I did. So far, the bottom coil ones I've got are working superbly!

2. It could be too much VG-I only use 20%, more than that makes my chest tight.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves: I still don't know what device I need to get her, lol. I know she was turned off by the size of my E-power and that she's currently vaping my old Blus (she really likes the charger case). If anybody could recommend some kind of mini with a decent battery life, that'd be great.
Then we can worry about what to vape on it.

Yeah, I hated using freezer bags until I saw somebody using that trick on Food Network, lol. It's irritating: I showed Mom the trick and she was decidedly unimpressed. Her comment: "If you were more careful, it wouldn't be an issue." Zing!

You know, I have everything i need to DIY - pg/vg & LorAnn flavorings, but I just haven't done it yet - now that I'm going 0 nic, it is the perfect time for me to try my hand at some simple juices! Thanks for the reminder Cookster (I keep wanting to call you Cookie lol)
