Just a quick update... I got the Maxpedition case today and it's just not big enough for Woody, Precious, and the collection of glass tanks I'll have soon(ish). If it were about 1/2 inch longer and 1/2 inch deeper with more padding, it would be great. I think I'll gift it to my friend for her eGo vape gear so she can keep everything organized in her purse.

Also, I got notice that Phineas (the new tank) shipped today, which was surprising since I ordered it yesterday morning and the site says to allow 1 to 4 additional business days for the frosted designs to cure. I guess they must have been working on the weekend, and I'm definitely not going to complain about fast shipping!

Cheeky - Great to hear from you! Glad your DIY's working out. I'm already planning my August HC order as well! I"m loving my Vivi as well. BTW, MyVapor has the twist pass-through. I think it's about $25. I love the 100mah, but I might try the 650 just to take to school and such. I'll wait and see. My Lavatube's been shipped; can't wait to try it out! Can't believe it'll be better than Buzz though.

Glen - Too bad about the case. Is it that it won't hold all of them or any of them?

It's mainly that there's very little padding and Woody could get dinged up, plus it won't fit an assembled mod (with tank) due to the length. I know Precious is tough enough to take some punishment, but Woody and the glass tanks will require some padding in the case for me to be comfortable with it.

On another note, I wanted to mention that I got the Kanger T2 (clearo) from DV last week, and it's working great! I've been vaping with it almost exclusively each evening when I get home from work, and for most of this past weekend, and it's a clean and smooth vape with really good flavor. Probably the best flavor I've gotten out of a clearo yet, and the price for the clearo and replacement heads is very reasonable. I'm vaping Raspberry Vanilla Swirl in it right now on Precious and it's just so good!

Also, the Dragon's Dream that I liked so much doesn't work out as well with extra flavor (for me). The subtle citrus is now way too strong and it just tastes "off" in any clearo or carto tank I put it in. Of the other stuff I got, the Dragon's Blood, Dragon's Tear, Dragon's Delight (love it!), and Raspberry Vanilla Swirl all taste great with the XF, especially in a carto tank. I'm going to get some straight vanilla and see if I can mellow out the citrus note since I now have 50ml, and hopefully that will give me a mix that I really like. I've heard that vanilla is a good flavor to have in abundance anyway to help resurrect just about any juice that isn't quite right.

Good day lizards! Glen, that's an excellent idea about the vanilla.. now the problem is to find a really good one. I've tried several, and the best one I found is Vanilla Love from Altcig ( I THINK it was from Altcig). I have some Zoe with raspberry that has a bit too much raz for me and I was thinking the same thing.. a little more vanilla in there might just mellow it out perfectly.

Have you guys seen the HC co-op? I'm thinking about getting a couple of those pretty decorated Ego's. But then again, I really like the Twists.. stuff just tastes so much better at a little higher voltage than an Ego can put out. Maybe I'll just get a couple more Twists. I don't know why I think I have to have a gazillion batteries. Well, yes I do... I know these things aren't designed to last forever and I have this big fear that they'll all die at once. Irrational? Probably. Cautious, definitely.

I love the HC co-op - I'm getting in on the August co-op again - debating 115ml flavorings vs 10ml flavoring bottles for some of them (deliciousness), and I'm adoring the twists with ViVi's on top - hoping they're back in stock in time for the co-op so I can pick up a few more of those, too. I have both the vanilla and the creamy vanilla - I'll try them both & let you know if one is better than the other. I'm mad for a mix of the hami-melon & watermelon juices, their RY4 is great when mixed with caramel & vanilla, and um.... their green menthol makes my mouth very happy too. Really impressed by all of the flavorings I've tried thus far - they're concentrated, so 10 drops is more than enough for a full 3 ml bottle, expecting that a 10ml will make well over 100ml of juice (probably close to 200ml), and since i'm -0 nic now, I'm having an awfully had time justifying paying full price for juices (even at ECB prices, which seems silly since they're so inexpensive), but I've done the math, and I can make a full 30ml of juice for under 40 cents....*sigh* I'll buy some of the more complex juices I love, but I think I'm going to be doing a good deal of DIY for a while (if you want to try my attempts, send me a few bottles & I'll fill them up for you! I think I've made a decent mocha!).... I still love Deej & ECB, I just need to watch the budget more now - Now that I'm on long term disability, I have to pay my insurance premiums in addition to a few other things that my employer covered previously, so I'm tightening the vape strings a bit until I verify whether taking on some very PT work (from home) would negatively impact my disability claim, or the claim with the liability carrier, etc... and once all of that is verified, we still have to see if my body can handle a bit of work.

back on the HC Co-op vein, I do wish they offered the twist in passthrough form (eventually, I'm sure!!!), may have to pick up a dragon embossed passthrough - I think Iron Monkey would enjoy it, and he is always finding himself at work with a dead battery on his long days - yikes! I love the ability to dial in my vapor temp the Twists are marvelous - will never replace the Provari or even the LT, but they're wonderful little batteries that make me a quite happy!

Hi Cheeky! Glad you're on the mend and doing the DIY thing to get your vape on! I hope you're feeling much better than before and it's awfully good to hear from you, but remember your limits and get your rest. Also, you still haven't posted pics of your Bella tanks, and I really want to see those. I'll tell you what... You show me yours (Bella) and I'll show you mine (Phineas).

Luv - I know you've had a love/hate relationship with clearos so far, but I think you might want to try out the Kanger T2 from DV. I've been beating on the one I have for about 8 days now and it's still giving me a great and consistent vape. As for the vanilla flavor, I'm thinking about Vanilla Gorilla from ECB since the sample I got was so good. It tastes really good on its own, so it should be good as a mixer as well.

I"m at the tail-end of finals; gave my last one last night. Today I'll be grading and posting and I'm done!
I'll be hanging around here for a week; waiting until I get paid again before traveling to Mom's for a week. I'm planning on making a trip to Heather's while I'm home and maybe painting my e-power (the black finish is coming off). One of the folks over at the trippy thread used fingernail polish with a sealant. I might give it a try (I'll leave the glitter off though ). I"m thinking a good rich red would be nice.

Cheeky, I'm definitely in for the next HC co-op. Not sure what I'm gettiing though, lol. I've already got 2 Vivi's and a boatload of Stardusts.

Yes, the Raspberry Vanilla swirl did come from ECB, and I do recommend it. It's very tasty! The Kanger I've been using is the T2 with the replaceable heads and it's still going strong on the original head. This thing is really spoiling me for flavor though and I thing these and the bottom coil CE3s are my favorite clearos at the moment. Haven't tried the Thor or the Vision 2.0 yet, but I'll get those on my next order.

Mornin guys... great to hear from everyone. Myth, I don't envy you that drive every day, but this comes from someone who lives literally less than a block from my workplace. I work at 3, leave home at about 10 of. But hope you're liking it.

Cheeky,, it's really great to see you back.. it does sound like you might be feeling a tad better. Long, slow recovery though, I'm sure. I've thought about the DIY thing, but I really like my pre-mixed stuff,, and I'm a bit lazy.

Yes Glen, totally love/hate with the clearos. DV does have quite a selection of them. I've got one like the Kanger T0 that GV had in the alpha program and it's ok, but on the third tankfull I was getting some dry hits. Might give the T2 a shot. I just don't seem to get the vape out of the clearos like I get with my dct's... I always go back to those.

My Rocket is performing spectacularly.. I find I hang right around 4.2 with it. Still might pick up a couple twists in that co-op though. Perhaps a pink one

We've had a rash of burlgaries in my neighborhood.. one of my neighbors had his golf clubs stolen out of his garage.. read in the paper today that it was our paper boy!! Loser! He stole the golf clubs, a bag of cans and a generator... a generator!!! I always keep things locked up because the step-daughter has stolen from us,, but the paper boy?? Sheesh!

You like the DCT's luv? I have to admit I haven't really given them a fair shake. I wasn't impressed with them initially. Though that could be due to me only having 3.7v devices at the time. I'm relying mostly on my 2.0 boges and I have to admit I much prefer my stardusts and Vivi to my carto tanks atm. I seem to get much more flavor out of them. I'm planning on ordering a few of the T2s from DV shortly.

My lavatube's on track for arriving tomorrow! Can't wait!

Oh, and I'm finally done! Got my grades posted and this boy's done until mid-August! WooHoo!

1.5ohm dct's work way better at 4.2 then 3.7 and most ego's are NOT really 3.7 anyway they meter at 3.2. (and that paperboy needs his .... kicked)

It's funny,,, we were wondering why our paper was so late getting here on Monday,, guess it's because the little ....... got arrested and they had to find someone else to do the deliveries. Crime is rampant here in this little town, and it stems from the drug abuse that's going on here. Our ER is full of crackheads looking for something to kill the DTs... we're right on the Canadian border so we probably have no idea how much stuff passes through here. I'm glad my kid is grown and feel sorry for anybody trying to raise a kid right now.. bad stuff our there.

Finally raining here, we needed it badly. They're calling for severe thunderstorms later, so make sure cell phones and stuff are charged up. Yeah, you can bet ALL my batteries will be charged and ready to go!!!

Got no vapemail coming this week. Been awhile since I've ordered anything but today is payday so I'm looking at a couple things over at HHV.. and DV. You know me, always on the hunt for the perfect clearo Nope, haven't found it yet. I like the vivi ok, but still find I go back to my standard ol carto tanks.

Mythus... you are SO freakin lucky!!!! Just last week here, a family (grandmother, mother, two daughters and one friend) were all killed when a tractor trailer slammed into them. So very thankful you're ok

Hate to hear about your crime problem. It's the same everywhere. It's a bit weird here in NO. We have lots of crime here, but it's very compartmentalized. For example where I live; I've yet to have any problems (except for looting after Katrina, but that doesn't count; they mostly took food that would have gone bad anyway.) However, 2 blocks south of here is a neighborhood that you wouldn't want to enter after dark. The Quarter's bad for muggings; Uptown's bad for property crimes.

That sucker's heavy! Love the recessed connection. Now I have to figure out what to hang off of it, lol. I'm amazed how good the stardusts look on it. The SS Lava tank as well. I'm probably gonna have to break down and order some SS caps for my Phiniacs though. It's gotta be some kind of tank; hanging a carto off of it looks just plain weird!
And I need more juices! I haven't even opened my second Vivi yet cause I have no idea what I want to put in it!

According to fb, myth got hit by a tractor trailer, she's fine but her car is a loss. She's SO lucky. A family was killed here last week after gettin hit by a semi. Gramma, mother, two daughters and a friend. Awful.

I'd like to see that chrome LT. my only complaint with those is that they ARE heavy. My rocket performs just as well and is much lighter.

Hi Luv - Thank you so much for the offer, but I have a case that's about that size and I'm looking for something a bit bigger. I think I'm going to have to look for something like a hand gun case or something similar and modify it with straps for the mods.

In other news, Phineas arrived yesterday and it is just beautiful! The blue frost on the design is more subtle than I expected and it's not easy to make it out (with my old eyes) at any distance. It's still an absolutely gorgeous tank and I'll try to get some pictures of it soon.

That sucks about Myth. I'm glad she's okay. I know from experience that she's gonna be sore and achy for a while; a while back (like 20 years or so, lol) I and my Miata got plowed into by a dump truck running a red light. I was stove up for days after that.

I fiinally found a use for the 1.5 Dc's I bought a while back to go with my Smoketek tanks. Green monster in one of those on Buzz using 4.5v is a true monster! I've always appreciated the amount of vapor they put out; it's just the flavor muting that I don't particularly like. Turns out it's the lower voltage that I was using that was the biggest problem.

Oh, and Mac? I don't use an Ego. My e-power is a 3.7 that starts at 4.2; same with Wilson and Arlo. You're right that the regular Ego's are 3.2v. And I finally get what you mean about vaping at higher voltages, though I'm not searching for 5ohm cartos just yet, lol.

Oh! I just noticed it's been 8 weeks since my last cigarette!
