So my vape setup. istick Picto and a innokin ISub v tank could strength 0.47 (horseshoe). I have a 2100mah bat at 7.77WH. It gets really hot to point of not being able to hold. My thoughts are that my battery is too weak, is this right?

Hmm.. looks like a Sony VTC4. If authentic, it should be fine at 20Amps and should handle your 33 watts with little effort.
My pico/battery (30Q) gets hot IF I usb charge it standing up right. (seems to block the vent holes).
In normal use, my battery/pico may get a bit warm but never uncomfortably.
If it was me, I would get a second battery and see if the issue persists.

Sorry I can't be more help.

Cheers

What battery would you recommend?
First I suggest finding a vendor you trust in your area/country.
I had used the Samsung 25Rs for the last few years, great battery, no issues, perfect 2500mAh units.
This time I ordered the Samsung 30Qs. The amp rating is the same as the 25Rs, but I get an additional 500mAh for about the same price. Except for the color of the wraps, they have been great.

I think the original was a nock off but this battery was purchased from Jac vapeour in Leeds. A creditable store.

Unfortunately, many times a Retailer can be selling Knock-Off Batteries thinking that they are Genuine. If they Knew that they were Fakes, they Wouldn't sell them. But they Don't know. So they do.

A Battery in a Mod should Never get Hot to the Touch. Ever. And it is a Big Time Warning that something is Wrong. And a Failure could be right around the bend.

That's why I got new batt and it's no longer hot. If this one gets hot I shall take back but so far so good.

    Good Call.

I would put a piece of Tape over the ends of that Old Battery and then drop it off wherever you Dispose of Batteries in your Area.
