recently bought a brand new smokmorph219 kit, I had done as people say and primed the coils before filing up and left it out to soak for about 20 minutes. I then poured the juice into the tank and let it out for another 30 minutes just to be sure and since then all my hits have be nearly completely flavourless. It tastes a LITTLE burnt from time to time but it’s just thick clouds with no taste. I searched everywhere online and can’t find an answer regarding this specific problem. Im sure I don’t have vapers tongue because I should atleast taste it on my first pull ever from the juice, but I don’t. The coils are included in the kit (0.25 ohm, 30-80W). I smoke around about 35 but have bumped it up to 60 sometimes but it just goes warmer and more thicker. What could be the problem? The juice is “beard vape: no 24 salted caramell” and From what I saw online, it has pretty good reviews. I’d buy another juice just to make sure but I’m not sure if I should just yet. Any help would be great, thanks

Other juices have flavor?
How long have you not been smoking?
Salted caramel sounds like a very delicate flavor, it may just not be as noticible. Although, caramel is really just nearly burnt sugar and butter, so who knows. That could just be the flavor profile, without enough sweetener for your taste.

I don't believe you fully understand about vaper's tongue.

If you are just now switching from smoking to vaping, you probably have vaper's tongue. Years of smoking negatively affect your taste buds and sense of smell. It can take days, weeks, or even months for your senses to heal and recover.

I suggest that you exhale some of your vape out through your nose when you vape. Our sense of smell is responsible for at least 60% of our sense of taste. Our taste buds can only distinguish sweet, sour, salty, and bitter. We need our sense of smell to help distinguish specific flavors from the aroma they release.

Have you been able to identify flavors in other e-liquids? Flavors in e-liquid are generally quite subtle. Particularly strong flavors like cinnamon, mint, or menthol can grow rather tiresome quickly.

Have you even tried lower wattage? How about airflow, have you tried tightening it up just to see any difference?

Yes I have lowered the wattage but all it did was create less clouds and wasn’t satisfying what so ever. I’m starting to think that both coils are just terrible and I might just consider buying a complete new head. Do you know any other brands that make tanks that are compatible with “smok”. Like uforce or any others. Do they all have the same screw on’s? Thanks.

I I have never smoked a cigarette in my entire life.
You say that as though it's to be expected that a non-smoker would take up vaping. What you're doing is very unusual and makes no sense. I hope you're not using nicotine too.

Im sure it’s not unusual as people do it for as a hobby from what I have seen. And yes it has nicotine in it which doesn’t make sense. I know but I wanted the specific juice and they only sold it with nicotine but it’s only 3mg. If it doesn’t make sense to vape from a non-smoker, then it also makes no sense for a person to start smoking cigarettes for no reason.

That juice may not taste good in your setup, with your prefers settings. It could be designed for mouth to lung. There are plenty of tanks that are compatible with smok coils, but you'd be better of using a better coil e tirely, as the coil determines most of how a juice will vape, not the tank around it.

Vaping can be a pita. And get expensive. Why put yourself thru all this hassle for what? A sweet flavor? Maybe try candy.

Here I was getting all outraged and OP makes a valid point. As cigarettes are further de-normalized we're going to see more and more spontaneous vapers. We can either accept them into the community or reject them and become more isolated. If we were entitled to commit the great stupidity that was starting smoking, why should the next generation be any less entitled to commit a 95%-less-harmful variation of the same stupidity?

ETA: Notwithstanding: The follies of others, rather than inviting imitation, should only put us more on our guard against weaknesses.

At least it's only 3 mg nicotine. Many people around here get upset if anyone starts vaping and have never smoked. Hey what if someone goes on a coffee forum asking about the best coffees and best way to make it, and then says they never drank coffee before (so like never had caffeine before) but only wants to enjoy one good cup a day. And then everyone says OMG you can't have coffee you will get hooked on caffeine. Maybe a beer forum... never drank, but wants to enjoy one good quality beer a day and everyone says you don't want to become an alcoholic. Lighten up folks. If OP had said 12 mg maybe I'd be concerned. Maybe we could drive people away and they think... well, F it I'll just smoke instead. Then a year later comes back and we all welcome them with open arms.

Could be coils for sure, definitely heard of multiple bad ones. I dont vape drop in coils, only rtas, so have no clue on compatibility. I also never tried that specific juice, but do vape alot of sweeter type tobacco's and imo they dont do as well at higher wattages, so it is possible it's also the juice...good luck

I I have never smoked a cigarette in my entire life. I have vaped vapes that are disposed after using. I not sure why I wouldn’t be able to atleast taste it even once. Maybe the juice is crap or maybe the flavour is just bad
Could be the juice is crap or the flavor is bad. Could be you didn't prime and break in the coil properly. Could be a bad batch of SMOK coils. I personally wouldn't use any SMOK mod, SMOK tank, or SMOK coils, but that's me.

Have any of your vape buds tried vaping it? What did they think? What tank and coils are they using?

Well said! And I agree 100%. I wish it had been an option when I started smoking. That was the dumbest thing I ever did. There’s no way I can fault anyone for taking up vaping rather than cigarettes.

just buy a fruity flavored liquid .. and a long dritip if the vape heat is problem .. imo you wont taste the flavor at 30 or 40 watts .. up the watts to 55- 65 range .. i tried like 25 - 30 lquieds at the vape shop since they provied a test units .. beard is the worst ones especially the caramel or tobbaco flavors .. and check the battery .. my friend have an alien mod with 4 coil head and fake hg2 batteries and the taste is shiit because of the weak battries that cannot give enough power to run the mod .. he tried my battries and the taste in much better ..
