Okay so this is my first post on this site and i have no idea if this is what forum i should put this under or what but here we go. So ive been vaping for about 3 months and right now my setup is a kangertech kbox 200 and a arctic v8 tank. Now normally ive bought my juice from the same site and its always had a nice hit to it. And recently i dropped to 3 mgs and at first it didnt hit too hard but once i got use to it and lowered my tolerence it started hitting good (and by hit i do mean the slight pain when it gets in your lungs) anyway ive bought from 2 different sites and both dont hit the same even though ive bought 3 mgs from both. One had higher vg than pg but idk if thats the reason. But the other has 50/50 so i dont think so. What is making certain juices not hit as hard even though they have the same nicotine and vg/pg levels??

throat hit comes from the nic, the pg, sometimes certain flavors can have throat hit too, so yeah there will be some variance.
Maybe try 6mg or 9mg of nic and a higher PG ratio if possible. Most of my juices are at 50-80% PG since I prefer throat hit and flavor over cloud chasing. I've also heard of some people getting stronger throat hits from citrus flavored juices.
And this is desirable?
Flavoring, PG, VG and nic all affect the smoothness and/or harshness of the vapor.
Yes, the PG adds hit to the juice. High VG juices will have less for the same nic content.

There are a few things to consider
1) Higher PG will give you that throat feel
2) Some Nicotine have peppery/spicy taste which adds to throat hit
3) Higher Nic levels will give more throat hit
