Box mods with a standard sized chip you can replace with nothing but a screwdriver.
And a 20/22mm treading standard interface to replace the 510 thread standard;
(what we call topcaps on tube mechs are really just thread adapters for the 510 cigalike size standard)
So you would like to assemble your vape mod by yourself.The DIY mods are the future?

Yes;
bottom line, when something stops working, users don't want to get forced into having to buy a whole new device; just change the defective part; plus you want to have that ability to change out parts just for the purpose of troubleshooting where a problem is.

You can see the trend already with:
1: the 510 standard interface:
People don't want to be locked into 1 proprietary device, or an odd interface that won't work with parts from another manufacturer.
It's about interoperability.

2: rebuildables:
People don't want to keep buying and tossing coil heads, plus again the interoperability issue comes up: one manufacturers coil head usually won't work in another manufacturers device.

Didn't know that. I only linked to them because I couldn't find the manufacturers site with a quick google search. Still think a combined phone and ecig is a terrible idea.
No, you're cool. :)

Of course it's a bad idea.... the more stupid, the higher the price no doubt and more lovely commission for this website.

I have a feeling that they will try to regulate the hell out of it, but I don't see them being able to shut it down. Then if they do I see a lot more stealth mods being created. People can be pretty creative when they are trying to get away with something. I see fewer people looking to make clouds so less vapor expressed. If however they don't try to regulate it out of existence, then I think that you will see mods develop and change to keep up with the trends. Kind of like cell phones. They used to be huge, then they slowly went tiny and discreet and now they are getting bigger again. But it will be fun to watch how things change and how they revert back to things that have been done forever. Like fashion.
I've read 99 percent of mods will fall off the market. I don't see how this is possible. Won't they just tax the liquid but not regulate the mods so much. Since thafs where the nic is. Or is that like saying they should regulate sale of bullets but not the gun itself

The deeming sez ANYTHING after the 2007 cutoff has to be "approved", an extremely costly process that few of the companies would bother with. And there isn't even any criteria as to what could be "approved"!
