So you would like to assemble your vape mod by yourself.The DIY mods are the future?
Yes;
bottom line, when something stops working, users don't want to get forced into having to buy a whole new device; just change the defective part; plus you want to have that ability to change out parts just for the purpose of troubleshooting where a problem is.
You can see the trend already with:
1: the 510 standard interface:
People don't want to be locked into 1 proprietary device, or an odd interface that won't work with parts from another manufacturer.
It's about interoperability.
2: rebuildables:
People don't want to keep buying and tossing coil heads, plus again the interoperability issue comes up: one manufacturers coil head usually won't work in another manufacturers device.
