The I'm going to start this off with an introduction to my self. I am josh I'm 23 years old I have been vaping for maybe 6 months now. I am new to this forum have been reading here for months now but just started posting today. Now for the real reason I am here. I expect this to be a place of understanding people with a simalar interests as me. Now I was a pack a day smoke for probably 7 years in bad Heath. couldn't run couldn't do anything at points smoked almost two packs a day... Now I feel so healthy its amazing. Who gives a flying f if it might be un healthy in some aspect. So is everything we do in life including smoking. Walking outside is unhealthy! (At least in my neighborhood voted third deadliest city in usa) including pollution and everything. Now I'm kind of beating around the bush here but I want to get to the meat and potatoes. Yes vaping saved me from a dirty habit of smoking cigs ... The least of my problems I was addicted to ...... for going on 6 years. #dontjudgeme. Now quiting smoking was the last thing on my mind. I just wanted that next one. Well anyway I did some things convictedd felon now baby on the way forced to live in a halfway house in murder city New York. I found my self in such a state of depression looking outside just to see so much poverty and addiction people beging for change for a cigarette.. It's a sad scene. And I found my self walking around the ghetto. Sooner then later I was back in the grips. Somewhere along the line someone gave me a small little 650mah no name vape with a disposable carto and it was so cool it had a skull that lit up green on the base as I vaped! And I noticed hey I save a lot of money with this little thing. So I started to do some research on stuff because I'm an addict and I need to know everything about everything and how to do it better then you do. So I came to terms with get clean again or go to prison for seven years and managed to clean my act up and through all this I still had my little vape that I would fall asleep vaping and first thing I grabed for in the morning then it broke.... Carto died fell apart in me and I took it apart and learned how it worked. So I saved up some money and started shiping and buying little things here and there watching you tube reading the fourms and discussions on battery's and mods and drippers. Now back to today I am 4 months clean off of ....... Have not been stabed or shot (did get hit with a brick once) and now I have this beautiful thing cAlled a hobby... I spend my free time doing research and building and while I go to outpatient rehab during the am I vape! Around everyone blow huge couds let every one try it and laugh when they try a baby hit on my .2 ohm plume veil and choke to death.give away all my old stuff to try and help people get into vaping. This is what I do it's who I am. Vaping not only have me my lungs back but for now I am clean because I have something to do in the worst point of my life I have a hobby I can help other people and share my knowledge. I can't wait to bring my daughter into this world and not have to share her with a drug. Or loose her to a drug because vAping has kept me clean long enough to see there more to life then what I knew. Now I won't smell like smoke around my newborn. It's a beautiful thing and it is not limited tovaping it can be done with anything but for me this is what it is.

i don't care if no one reads this or even gives a f. But for me I'm happy today and would like to share my feelings with someone even if it's no one thank you.

Congrats brother. I share much of your experience.. I was in a long-term rehab when i joined the forum, hence my name. I started vaping because it was cheaper than asking my wife to buy a carton of cigs every week, and I've been wanting to quit for years, figured what better place than rehab to quit smoking. It has turned into my hobby as well. Having a hobby does wonders for your recovery bro. Keep the fight going and congrats, kids are awesome bro.

Ty can't really tell this to any normal people out there they would look at me like I'm crazy...

I've been through some of the same things and I was just about to say your courage to say/write it all is admirable. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember when you hit the bottom there's only one way to go from there!
