My last gallon arrived and it's all going in glass over the next two weeks. I have oh, about 17 liters, but I am young. Plus one I just opened in the fridge and the nic base I make usually lasts me a LONG time, like months, many more than I imagine.

As far as the FDA, it should be interesting. I am glad/not so glad they are around. Yes, the do produce SOME good, but they are chronically underfunded and understaffed.

Medication trials last TWELVE WEEKS. There are NO long term studies, people and their docs just have to report long term side effects (including death) if they feel like it. There are PLENTY of meds yanked off the market.

I use generics whenever possible. They DO have long term safety data even with the plus or minus 20% I figure I am safer, and I use pharmacies who will consistently supply me with the same generic.

To be fair, all new meds have to start SOMEWHERE, but like 12 weeks just kind of tells you you probably won't die INSTANTLY. I am glad they have a tracking system but a LOT of folks have to die for a med to get yanked. Being one of those folks (or injured by a med) is not so great.

The FDA has a long way to go and unless like, someone has allocated WAY more budget into what they have available (this may be the case IDK) I am not sure quite how this thing is going to work.

I have never heard of "retroactive seizure" unless it was like, terrible food or something. I doubt very highly that will be the case for nic purchased and frozen long before the regs went into effect. I don't think they can or will HAVE the resources to do that.

The number of vapers paranoid and willing enough to do this.... My stash wasn't cheap and I had to obtain it relatively quickly. It's a very small percentage. I just ALSO know what oxygen tanks cost and given I was risk for one VERY young and vaping saved me from that... I'm not sure I can be paranoid ENOUGH. Etc.

First, they have absolutely no authority legal to do that.

Second, there's the resource question. I think this at least partially explains why they've done almost nothing to enforce the "No New Products after 2016-08-08" part of the Deeming. They simply cannot visit every one of thousands of shops (which are by no means limited to dedicated vape-shops) that sell vape-stuff (many of whom import hardware directly from China) to check all their inventory on a regular basis.

Yeah, and we don't normally carry yellow vests in our cars...

This is all big-corporations, big-tax-revenue, and big-trouble.
But I still think there's back-room deals in the works to go after the cigs, so they're turning vaping over to BT as an exchange.
Yep agreed.... That's possibly the worst thing.... The back room lobbyist driven, big bucks back handers which really shouldn't be legal but are. America's biggest problem. À law change is needed to disallow the amount of private business dealings a politician can be allowed to carry out. In most european countries they have this one mostly covered so the extent of the US corruption is simply not possible.... Unless you want to go to prison that is :)
