Went there for dinner. Told to stop vaping (& I even sat at the bar with my spouse to eat, figuring it wouldn't be in the main restaurant, just in case because I was vaping).

Finished dinner & left. Never going back.

Enough said.

I'm fortunate that I have yet to find a place uncool with vaping, and am keen to avoid places like that.

Just wondering... Did you ask the manager before you started vaping? Always best to educate first and inform them that Arizona laws do not include vaping in the indoor bans (this is a non combustible product) and the only regulations for e-cigs are that they can't be sold to minors and ask for permission to vape. Telling them all the places that allow you to vape indoors helps also. I've never had a problem anywhere when doing all that first.

Some places I just ask for a booth in the back and stealth vape if I'm pretty sure they'd say no and I don't feel like a pissing match (at large chain/family style restaurants).

I've never had too many issues vaping in public, Granted Martini Ranch in scottsdale isn't much for it inside which sucks when my band is there but their courtyard is usually where I'm at anyway. Thanks for the heads up though, my wife has been wanting to go there for dinner.
