i went to the bar last night for my cousin's bday. i was gonna go outside to vape with the smokers but it was freakin freezing. so i was like F it and i pulled out my bartleby, my brother saw me and he too pulled out his 510 and we just started vaping. we thought the bartender or the bouncer would say something but they didnt. they saw me and my bro vaping and nothing:thumb:. i was even vaping at the bar while waiting for my shots and the bartender didnt even say anything, just my total:lol:. its not like we were at a hole-in-the-wall type of bar, we were at lincoln park. if you guys have been to chicago, you know what lincoln park is.

I've posted this elsewhere, but it's true. My favorite club for live music and dancing is owned by a cardiologist. Yep: a cardiologist. He and his wife are terrific and friendly. He usually comes in once a night for a glass of wine and to check up on things. He's got a great (younger) staff. AND, he used to smoke. Quit 15 years ago. It's a no-smoking club since they bought the place three years ago and ripped everything out (to get rid of the former smoking smell) and started over. A few grumbles from the smoking regulars at the time, but nobody minds, really. Smokers have to go outside.

The night my kit arrived, I went to the club and he happened to be at the bar. I joined him at the next stool, took out my e-cig (V4L), showed it to him, explained it all -- he was fascinated. I took a puff and intentionally made a huge cloud of vape. Like everybody else who sees this for the first time, his eyes got wide and excited and he said, "WOW!"

Then I took another puff, this time intentionally inhaling all the vape (stealth vaping, in other words). He loved it! I suggested he consider telling his cardio patients about e-cigs, if they're having a hard time quitting analogs.

I've been vaping at the club ever since. The bartenders (who know I'm a heavy smoker and used to my stepping outside four or five times a night for a "smoke") are impressed enough they've also ordered kits. So have a couple of servers.

I stealth vape (cup my hand around the LED tip and inhale all the vape) wherever I feel like it -- department stores, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Never had a problem.

Even in front of the police regulars at my favorite breakfast place! They're smokers too, and want to know all about e-cigs.

So, happy vaping!
