Hi, today let's take a look at the Jester Pro sent to me by Vapefly. In this Test I will examine each of the characteristics that distinguish this item. I hope that at the end of this reading you can understand this product, and therefore decide whether to invest in it or not. As always, my opinions are free and based on my personal experience.

This device is found inside a small black cardboard package combined with elegant gold writing. On the front side you can see the kit through a transparent window, the name Jester PRO and the Vapefly branding. On the back there are some main features in the form of icons, the packing list, barcode, scratch&check. On the remaining sides you can read; the name "Jester Pro", support addresses, warnings, logos, trademarks.

► Vapefly Jester Pro; First Impressions:
Vapefly was the first company in the industry to introduce a Pod device with a rebuildable cartridge to the market (a few years ago), and this was the original Jester Pod. The second version for 2023 instead focused on 3 different cartridges for both MTL and RDL. The third and current version of Jester Pod 2024 is called PRO and gains a 0.42" Oled Display with an internal 1,000mAh battery. The disposable cartridges are fully compatible with Jester 2 and the choice of cartridges is as follows; 0.6Ω/0.8 Ω/1.0Ω/1.2Ω. The airflow of the Jester Pro is adjustable and adapts perfectly to the needs of each cartridge. The new Jester Pro kit is robust with its zinc alloy construction, yet the weight is low. The narrow and slender shape makes this device very ergonomic and easy to carry thanks also to the collar supplied in the kit.

► Vapefly Jester Pro; How it's done:
On the bottom of the Mod next to the disposal logo, the capacity of the 1,000mAh battery is indicated. The support base has a well-studied shape and, if desired, allows you to keep the device upright even when charging it.

Jester Pro is equipped with an internal 1000mAh battery. The LED light inside the Fire button shows the current battery charge level as follows:

• Green light; the charge level is between 60 and 100%
• Blue light; the charge level is between 40 and 60%
• Red light: the charge level is between 0 and 40%

A battery's life cycle lasts quite a long time; I managed to get 220 puffs with 21W of constant power, the battery can be fully charged in about 1 hour through the Tpe-C side charging port

In the side view you can see the Type-C charging port and on the other side you can see the AFC adjustment system which is controlled by a small but sturdy metal knob for easy adjustment of the airflow from MTL to RDL, to the Inside the slot the 3 small holes are adjustable by raising or lowering the knob.

The graphic theme of Jester Pro uses IML plastic decoration technology, the aesthetic result is impeccable, the color version (Black) that I received for this test has beautiful and complex gray decorations that stand out elegantly against the color black background. The control panel contains a monochrome OLED display with clearly visible and bright enlarged fonts, you can see the residual charge level, read the set power, the number of puffs and the duration of the last puff. The rectangular fire button is slightly protruding, does not wobble and contains an LED inside for the battery charge level and for protection notifications.

► Vapefly Jester Pro; Operation Guide:
5 clicks on the Fire button to turn on the device, to turn off the device 5 clicks on the Fire button then select the "Power Off" mode. You can decide whether to inhale directly automatically or using the Fire button. If you vape continuously for more than 8s the delivery stops and the LED light flashes blue 3 times. The "Auto Mode" mode is active by default on the device, which limits the maximum power based on the coils detected. To switch to DIY mode for manual adjustment of power from 5 to 25W without limits; press the Fire button 5 times and select "DIY Mode". To lock/unlock the fire button, press the Fire button 4 times in succession.

The Pod compartment uses two powerful magnets to connect with the cartridge, furthermore on the bottom there are contact pins and the sensor for automatic extraction.

► Vapefly Jester Pro; Jester 2/Pro Cartridge
The Jester Pro cartridge is also compatible with Jester 2 and this is great news. The pod has good transparency which facilitates visual control of the internal liquid level, the spout has a classic ergonomic design for the lips. The lateral type refill is carried out by lifting the usual rubber, you can insert up to 3ml of e-liquid. The only cartridge in the package is the 0.6Ω one and is suitable for an RDL vaping style.

You can purchase two more different cartridge options for a total of 3 different options. All these cartridges offer a wide choice of vaping from RDL to MTL thanks to the FreeCore Coils inside which offer users great flavor and good vapor production. With the smart function active the Jester Pro automatically adjusts the recommended power for each resistance. These cartridges are sold as spares in blister packs of 3 pieces.

► Vapefly Jester Pro; Vaping test & Final Conclusions:
Having 3 different Jester Pro cartridges available and to provide the most precise indications possible. For all the cartridges I used the same Hypnos TOB e-juice diluted at 10% with 50/50 VGG and with 3mg/ml of boost.

► Pod 0.6Ω RDL Included:
With the Smart function activated the chipset automatically selects an optimal power of 21W for this cartridge, of course you can decide to go down or up with the power up to max 23W. For my way of vaping this is definitely the combination of cartridge and FreeCore Coils that I prefer. With the AFC wide open, power delivery is quick with faithful reproduction of flavor being developed along with a good dose of dense clouds. The Puff is moist at the right point and if necessary it is easy to achieve a decidedly satisfying throat hit, simply by slightly closing the air flow control. No problems with the formation of condensation or spitting, shooting is fluid and silent, for me the overall rating of this cartridge is very good.

► Pod 0.8Ω MTL/RDL 16W Optional:
With the Smart function activated the chipset automatically selects an optimal power of 16W for this cartridge, of course you can decide to go down or up with the power up to max 18W. This is certainly another cartridge suited to my style of vaping and compared to the previous one it is more oriented towards MTL shooting, resulting in similar but softer behavior in the emission of clouds and in the perception of sweetness. However, with the possibility of further restricting the air flow it is possible to maintain a powerful throat hit.

► Pod 1.2Ω MTL 11W Optional:
With the Smart function activated the chipset automatically selects an optimal power of 11W for this cartridge, of course you can decide to go down or up with the power up to max 13W. This is certainly the MTL coil that will be most appreciated by representatives of muffled MTL shooting. Compared to the previous 0.8Ω version, this one offers colder and drier vapor, with optimal operation even with the AFC completely closed for an extreme MTL shot.

The new Jester Pro has a nice bright display, fine decorations, is light, very "user friendly". The chipset includes all the necessary safety protections, and allows automatic and manual double extraction (can be excluded), simplifying its operation for vaping novices. In fact, a light suction or a touch on the button is enough to activate the Puff instantly, with any degree of airflow opening and without any hesitation. The 1,000mAh battery seems really well managed and charges in a relatively short time of around 60 minutes. The wide range of cartridge choices offers you a complete vaping experience. The Chip automatically selects the recommended power for each resistance and keeps the output constant from start to finish. The precise air control allows the best possible adjustment for each of the three available Pods. For me, the Vapefly Jester Pro Kit is highly recommended for those who want to immerse themselves in pleasantly easy vaping with good performance to achieve without worries.
