Vapemail has arrived! First mod!

Got my VTR today! Got it from myvaporstore along with with 10 Boge cartos. Got the 19mm XL from Ibtanked. 2 AW IMR 18650 2000mAh and a Pila charger from Provape. Loving it so far. Upgraded from 650 mAh eGo and Evod batteries. Also got a wood grain Jwrap for it. Saw one on here and had to have it. Drip tip is Warble from Ibtanked. The rumors are true...it is HEAVY. But it's wonderful, it feels nice and sturdy. Highly recommended. Didn't even realize it was gonna come with an iclear, figured that was only if you bought a "kit." Guess I have a spare, since my evod clearo is officially retired.

Happy to join the mod squad at last after over a year of vaping! It sure won't be my last. Planning on getting a tube mod (SVD or Provari most likely) very soon (next few weeks), then probably venture into a mech after that. Planning on saving one of my old batteries for backup, but the rest are going to be gifted as starters for new vapers!

I don't know. As far as I know it's made with a zinc alloy. Zinc is what makes it so heavy. I have other metal things made with zinc alloys and they're practically indestructible.

I wouldn't blame you for not getting one if you use a lot of toppers that don't fit in it. Definitely a con there, but a LOT of people use kanger tanks and ibtanks which fit. It's mostly just RDAs that don't. Of course, there are exceptions.

Since I have a thread going can someone answer this question? This is my first carto tank and I'm using pre-punched boges with 50/50 juice. Planning on getting something more vg tomorrow, probably 30/70. At 70% VG, I assume I'll have to manipulate my cartos (I have a punch) to improve wicking. What has worked for others in the past for 70% VG? Punching one or both of my existing laser punches to enlarge them or maybe adding a third seperate punch? Don't wanna go too far and start flooding obviously.

It seems to vary alot from person to person.

I run 50/50 juices and always have to add a 3rd hole to Boge prepunched cartos. Since I find that hard on the tanks orings I have swapped over to using preSLOTTED cartos instead of punched ones.

Other people I know do fine with the 2 predone boge punches. I can only guess that vaping habits (I chain vape), temperatures, barometric pressure have something to do with it.

LOVING my ibtank. Only owned various kangers before this. Not going back. Only took my roommate 10mins after I opened my vapemail to get his order ready. He's switching from eGo twist + PT2 to Provari + ibtank. Also have a VV 3.0 coming for the lady tomorrow.
