I really like this mod and want to get one but I am bummed it is not a manual battery. It would have been cool to have this little PV with a bottom mounted locking switch. It would probably be a little bit more expensive but would have been awesome.

I'm still getting one eventually :)

It's easy to miss it, look to the right of the LavaTube :)

$20 at ElectronicStix, ordered it December 29th and it arrived today! For $5.50 shipping and considering the New Year holidays I wasn't expecting to get this thing for another 2 weeks.

Happy Friday everyone!

I have never heard of an SD ring? Looks like a small ego? How does it work exactly? Congrats on getting your vape mail! I am really interested now in that little device!

Agreed I would've loved to have had a manual option because now I can't use it to drip since it's not a sealed auto battery..

It's about half the size of an eGo (height wise) but roughly the same diameter.

As for how it works, pretty much the same way as any regular automatic battery, slap on a carto and vape away :) The only downside (other than being unsealed) is that the battery is not user replaceable.

Edit: here's the link to the product

I've owned a lot of PVs from the Darwin to the Omega to the Lavatube, but no PV has yet to make me feel this giddy - everytime I take a vape I can't help but look at it and smile :)

I feel the same way! I don't know if it's because it's tiny, or because I've hung it on a necklace around my neck so I don't have to carry my infinity pro around with me everywhere... But it makes me chuckle every time I puff on it.

I'm a fan of small, pocketable mods. And I'll probably get one or two of those.

I hope they'll come up with a tubular mod with removable batteries specifically with size AA like the 14500s. So far 2AA box mods fit that profile. I've got plenty of 14500s lying around. (Might as well order two 2AA box mods now in US sites. Canadian sellers don't seem to be interested in carrying them.)

I'm not at the end of the thread so maybe someone already pointed you in this direction but these are only 17$! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/classifieds-swaps/255253-3-7v-box-mods.html
