What kind of fluid did you have in it??? Any pics of where the paint was coming off at?

I had Ahlusion's "peachy criminal" in it, 70/30 VG/PG. I'll check when I get home and see if the trash has been taken out yet. If out hasn't I'll post some pics of it.

Well... In my experience there are so many styles of vaping (pull length and strength etc) that a genesis style tank is definitely not for everyone. It wasn't for me. Definitely try one out if you want to, but I wouldn't trust any recommendation as a end-all-be-all solution.

I get the best vape I've ever gotten from anything out of a Vapeonly BCC with a Spheroid setup, "Vapeonloid". No leaking even in the winter, and can be stored and vaped in any position. I am advanced in rebuilding an atty, but the Odysseus clones, modded DID clones, and even the Kayfun clone are just sitting in the box. Again, this is only for my personal vaping style, which is 3 second drags, from light to strong, 1-10 in a row.

How to make Vapeonly to a Vapeonloid (audio in Finnish):
"Vapeonloid"! Spheroid-setupin teko Vapeonly BCC:hen - YouTube

I'm a 901 survivor... Thanks, but no thanks! It's my dream as it is ;)

The only thing about vapeonly heads that aren't very dry burn friendly. The tank screwed down helps the head make positive contact with the base. I think these are more for a quick wash or alcohol dip and no dry burning whatsoever.

Just curious.. what problems are you having with dry burning? I have dry burned the heads twice (just did one a few minutes ago) and the only issue I had was having to push the head down into the base while on the mod to fire it. I was successful though.

Funny enough, it really didn't need it after many fills. Burned clean in two "burns".

Yes, just that, having to push it down because it doesn't make contact with the head. I did it just once, we'll see next time

Best Clearomizer System i've used. VapeOnly BCC made me put my Prive Tank + cartomizer into drawer.

Using this set at 1.8ohm coil head with 3.7volt fired from ego-twist 900mah batt.
E-liquid i use is %80VG, %20PG
and
i removed 2 taste wicks above the coil, therefore only "1" wick should left as taste-wick above coil in order to vape this at its BEST.

Such a budget system with a great and constant delivery.

Hum, maybe... the way the thing felt I thought the caps where plastic. Guess there just painted aluminum?

:: sent from android with tapatalk ::

I think they are just bare aluminum. The spots in the pictures look like oxidation from a reaction with chlorine (or something else). The same thing happens to aluminum in swimming pools. Are you able to wipe them off?

Na, there pitted. Each spot is white where it happened. Thought I was seeing the plastic under the paint, didn't spend much time on trying to revive it.

When I take it apart, reseat the atomizer, put it together, get some good vape, but not for long. I've reseated 4 times, and once I dripped just a wee bit of juice to get it wicking again. It works for less than 1ml then burnt taste again. At first flavored burnt, then the juice runs dry.

I'll try the other atomizers...

Today I made a new kind of setup to my Vapeonly: Spheroid setup with a SS mesh wick. Started working rather nicely already at 8 watts.) The vapor is quite hot, but the coil seems to flood quite easily. I'll try a thinner wick next.

I have used my Vapeonlys with a silica Spheroid setup for a few weeks, and they have served me quite a bit better than the regular, original or recoiled. Strongly recommended if you want to get more out of your Vapeonly.

I did and ss setup on a kanger t3 before and ended up with some flooding issues. I'm currently working with some cotton wick setups on the t3 as well, but also got some flooding issues. I need to add some thicker cotton or rest some more flavor wick on top of the coil or something. Both methods work excellent at first, but then food. I'd love to get the t3 functioning good in this way because other than the wick and coils that come with them, they are a pretty well built solid clearo.

Boiling the stock unit did make most of the bad taste they're known for go away though. Something I didn't do when I first got then so i wrote them off quickly, but had a bunch left and have come back to them now with boiling and recoiling.

Is the "bad taste" everyone's talking about a sorta....really harsh throat hit? Because I just opened up a blue tank/black cap version and every head in the box is giving me this. The clear tank/silver cap one did not do this. Now I'm all outta heads....
I've tried several juices of differing PG/VG ratios. They all do this. If I get the voltage to a level where I can taste anything, I get this burning sensation in the back of my throat. Almost as if it's firing too hot....

And right now, I'm on the last head I've got. It's labeled as a 2.5Ohm head but my eVic thinks it's 2.8Ohm. I've got it at 3.7V, 4.9W. This gets me a little flavor and a little vapor, and minimizes the burnt-throat effect.
Grrrr.....

Every now and then blow into the tank. I think it minimizes the harshness.

Yes, that is a dry hit.

There are tolerances in the heads, so it could be that the wicks are too tight for the juices you are using. Removing one flavor wick should help.

Thanks, I totally forgot all the other suggestions to do that.
I can be mighty forgetful sometimes.
