HCigar Brass and Stainless Steel Two Tone Nemesis Clone

On their site they offer the choice of a magnetic switch but haven't seen anyone mention if these magnets work well compared to adding your own....or should I just stick with the standard pin

It will be the same switch. They just do eh upgrade for you.(install the magnets) I'd email them and ask if they do the magnet kit, will the still give you the springs that were in the original setup. After all you are paying for them.

Edit: I have converted all 3 of mine to magnetic switches.
