One year ago today I made the decision to try for the umpteenth time to let go of an addiction that I had for 37 years. I put out the cig, went in the B&M. A short time later I left with a little joye 510t kit and 2 bottles of 24 mg juice. There were 2 Marlboro light 100's left in the pack in my purse.

Today that pack sits next to the pen cup on my desk. It has 2 Marlboro light 100's in it.
I have found my perfect mods, my adv's, and a home in Reoville.
I can taste again, I can smell again, and most important I can breathe again.

Congratulations Mrs C. I'm 8 months in. Didn't keep any cigarettes around because I was afraid I'd light up "just one", but after the first week I could have. Gave it up and switched completely to vaping. Haven't touched one since despite huge stresses happening this year. It's a huge milestone. I hope you treat yourself to something special. New Reo perhaps? :p

Even though we don't know each other I'm very proud of you. I hope you live a long healthy life. (jeesh I sound sappy, but when it comes to quitting smoking I guess I am)

Congrats, it such a great feeling isn't it.

The first thing I noticed after quitting was how strong the smell of cigs was in an elevator with a smoker.

Way to go Mrs C!!! What a huge milestone! I just couldn't do what you did leaving a couple of cigarettes around like that. I knew that I was too weak to do something like that. I smoked my last one, then fired up my new ego kit and haven't smoked since. Now, I know I won't, with the best that I can get behind me. I am working on my seventh month and couldn't be happier. So, you did well, and are doing well. Does my heart good to see so many finally kick such a long term death sentence of cigarettes!

The beautiful mini woodvil I got from the classies last week is my 1 year present to myself :)

I never have handled being told no well. Tell me "No" and I respond "Watch this". Those last 2 were sort of an insurance policy. Having them around meant I could if I "really truly needed to smoke", but early on they were kept where it was an effort to go get them vs having my vape within reach at all times. When the cravings hit I told myself I didn't need a cig, I needed nic and picked up my pv.

Congratulations Mrs. C! I think the one year mark is *the* mark when an ex-smoker can really feel that the coffin nails have been buried, for real and for good. It's sad to know that there are still many more smokers out there who don't realize what e-cigs really are. I know when I first heard of them the first word that came to my mind was "gimmick". Good thing my sister got in my face and made me try one. I think we can count ourselves very lucky, maybe even blessed. That may sound corny but that's how I feel.
