Hi Guys,

I am totally new to all this vaping business, and really don't know where to start. I've narrowed my choice down to two brands. Vapestick and Halo. Im looking at the various costs of cartridges etc and that Vapestick says their atomiser only lasts 4-6 weeks. I'm completely fuddle dunked  with info. Could some of you give me what your choice would be of the two and reasons why please? All help will be most appreciated.

Hmm... cannot speak in regards to the quality of vapestick, however, halocigs is reputed to be a good company. My experience, or rather, a friends experience has been to the contrary. Two defective batteries from them off the get go and no help from customer support in response. Were it me, I'd go with bloog, volt, or vaporking. Good luck.

If it looks like a cigarette you are probably not getting your money's worth.

While I'm sure Halo would be okay, there's a big chance you're paying extra just for their name.

These posts are very helpful. They are MADE for you, the newcomer :)

People with have opinions all over the place of what's best. It will help to narrow down the best options if you let people know how much you smoke.

Thanks for all your replies and they really are helpful, what maybe I should have pointed out is that I'm in the UK so not sure we have all the brands you speak of. I have looked at a lot of the new comer stuff but quite honestly thats where I became bogged down with to much information. I was kinda hoping there may be a few users on here that had tried the two brands out. Though Halo do offer Menthol there is no mention of Menthol Ice. I will be going for a menthol flavour as I use menthol filter tips. God so much information. The Halo's give you 5 cartridges for 8.99 where the Vapestick give you 10 for 7.99 but the initial spend is a fair bit more for the Vapestick.

Based on the sites you're trying to choose between, it seems you're looking for a small look-alike model. I would suggest the Volt from Smokeless Image as the best deal and best quality, that I personally know of anyway.

But, if being in the UK is really that much of a problem, try checking out the UK forum here on ECF. I'm sure they could help you more than anyone else.

But, I know there are lots of reputable vendors in the UK. I sometimes find it frustrating when there's something that catches my eye and it turns out that the vendor is in the UK (I don't want to pay the extra shipping).

BTW, a love the name vapestick! I might even start using it instead of PV or e-cig. Not so sure about the company though. I think I'ld avoid that one.

Thank you so much for all this info, will be off to have a look at the UK forum in a bit. Just thought I'd give you all the link for Vapestick to take a look.

VAPESTICK Electronic Cigarettes - The Ultimate E-Cigarette

They also have a video in their review section of Katherine Heigl using one on the Letterman show, though Im not entirely sure if its a Vapestick, which I guess would be a bit cheeky if its not, but hey, who knows.

I've been banging on about Vapestick for ages...I have tried several e-cigs but none of them are as good as the Vapestick Max. It really is the best vape I have ever tried - worth the initial expense and the refills are cheap and delivered super-quickly. I'm on 2.4% Original Flavour - tried tobacco but much prefer the Original. I haven;t had a cigarette for well over a year now....I couldn't have done it with out Vapestick!! They're reliable, good value and never let you down!! Good Luck!!
