When at an airport in the USA and wanting to vape, where is the acceptable place to do it?
Are we resigned to going in the analog smokers area? :(
Can we vape in a bathroom stall? Would the vape clouds be enough to set off the smoke detector?
I don't think I would do it, but has anyone just vaped right there in the gate area or baggage claim?
Also, how are our mods and e-juices handled as far as TSA and carry on bags go?

I might be traveling in the next couple months and am having a little trouble getting clear answers through my searches so far.

Juices in the ziploc with your other liquids, batteries in the basket with wallet, purse whatever. TSA has seen it all. I didn't get questioned back in November.
I did get my hands swabbed though.
As far as vaping in the airport, I couldn't take the smoking bar in Denver! Man it stunk!.... Whoa, did I used to do that?(yes) Vaping in the bathroom? I'm sure you could get away with it, but is it worth it?
Baggage claim is just steps away from the exit door and requires no screening to get back in. I suggest waiting til then to vape.

Liquids in a Baggie like any other liquid you would carry on. Quart size ziplock. Batteries should be in a case, if you use regular batteries like for a ProVari, VAMO etc.. ALWAYS carry on the batteries. Do Not put them in checked luggage. TSA is very familiar with all sorts of PV's.

Airports and vaping.... Depends on the airport. Some airports still have smoking areas.

I 'stealth' vape at the gate. I do not let any vapor out whatsoever.

I discrete vape at airports in the US, while walking around, at an empty gate and even if I find a smoker's lounge. Just be discrete if it is not allowed.

I put all batteries in battery boxes and mods in my carry on. I take them out for the x-ray and tell them I have electronic cigarette gear. Liquids and filled tanks go in the quart ZipLock liquid bag. Extra bottles and gear I put in my checked bag, on top, so they don't have to unpack my bag if TSA decides to look at.

Nobody really cares unless you are blowing clouds and making a spectacle. I was flying overseas last May and had a big layover in philly. Found a quiet corner and stealthed. Got startled by a tsa guy also looking for a place to take a quiet break. I apologized and said I would put it away. He said "it's fine. If the aroma is unpleasant I'll ask you to change flavors". I thought that was really cool. He just sat there messing with his phone 5 seats down and could care less.

The thing is, if you are discrete then nobody notices or cares. Just respect other people's space and be smart.

I bought an ileaf mini 10w and topped it with a mini pt3. It's super small with good batt life. Definitely my go to stealther from now on.
