Vaping and Nerdom

Hey guys I have a quick question. I am a collector of comic books, toys the whole nine. My question is smoking will discolor things such as plastic and leave a permeated smell (on anything really). Are there any long term vapors here that also collect comic books and figures that can give me a run down of the effect of the vapor on these products? I dont plan on reselling anything I just want to know what to expect.

Only downside is high VG liquids. Just like windows, VG collects and leaves an oily film on glass and plastic surfaces. I've got several Hatsune Miku and other anime figurines on a shelf in my computer/vape room that when I do my bi-annual deep clean of electronics and the room I have to wipe the residue off them with mild solution water and dawn dish soap.
