So I have and Aerotank Mega, Aerotank V2, and the original Aerotank. I'm vaping Boba's Bounty but 9 out of 10 hits have an awful burnt/dirty towel taste. I'm using an MVP usually around 8 watts and even if I lower the wattage I still get that nasty taste. My coils are 1.8 Kanger coils. I just ordered a Nautilis Mini because i've heard good things about their coils. Am I doing something wrong here? I know Boba's can be a finicky juice. Would it be better if I just bought a Kayfun Lite and started rebuilding? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

If you have any of the old style kanger coils (with the exposed wick), you can take the chimney off and take the two flavor wicks off the top. When I first started vaping BB and GJ was my all day vapes, and doing this made it wick a hell of a lot easier. If you don't have any of those type, they're still available. It worked wonders for me

Agree with above - it's probably not wicking well due to thickness.
And while SOMETHING rebuildable, where you can change the wick setup is a good idea (for this, and also just worth trying anyway) - I never loved the wicking in a Kayfun.
Maybe someone can recommend a different rebuildable tank that's really good at wicking?

(I didn't keep going down that path - I went bottom feed instead)

Lazy I guess. Lol. Nah. I do have a 510 atomizer at home that i'm gonna try tonight with the Boba's. I'm also going to try the distilled water thing too. What RDA would you recommend for a newbie?

If you were going to maybe get a Kayfun you should DEFINITELY consider an RDA. Probably start off with a Stillare. I wish I would have started much sooner and saved a lot of money. Trust me dude, get yourself a Stillare, it'll change your life.

I am obsessed with Alpha by Cloud Science which is 70 vg/30 pg. Wanted to put it in my Kanger mini2 so I could bring it everywhere with me but was having issues with the wicking on account of the liquid being so viscous. I rebuilt the Kanger head with Rayon and KGDCotton (separately, I wanted to try both ways) and have not had a wicking problem yet. If you don't want to rebuild the coil you could either rewick the coil and the flavor wicks with smaller pieces of cotton or Rayon, or just try to remove the flavor wicks and replace them with a tiny strand of C or R. Worked for me.

I have zero experience with rebuilding. I'll have to check out some videos tonight. I'm going to try diluting it tonight with a little distilled water and see if that works.

I also had zero experience but watched some videos, read up,asked for advice, and successfully rebuilt my first Kanger head yesterday. First try 1.91 ohms, it is way easier than it would seem to be. The easiest thing to do is mess with the flavor wicks, if you don't want to rebuild or rewick the coil itself. Just pull off the grommet and chimney and pull them out with tweezers. Take a tiny piece of Rayon or Cotton and replace and cut to size, you want to make it about the size of one of the flavor wicks because if using cotton it is much more absorbent than the silicon. If you rewick the coil itself you don't need the flavor wicks. It's easy to play around with them and figure out what works best for you.

I use the Japanese Organic cotton pads, they are very easy to work with.

I also meant to add, I'm not trying to discourage you from diluting the ejuice. I just don't have any experience in using distilled water to do so, so I can't speak on it :)
