Junk Science!!! :D
While we cannot be sure that vaping is harmless, we are confident that it's much less harmful than smoking, and studies (other than the one you read) show that it's practically harmless to others around us.
It's not a Proven that it's harmless, but there are medical professionals, researchers, etc that so far cannot find any concern as far as a possible 2nd hand vape.

There are many articles that you can read through if you're interested... then you can make that decision yourself.

Most members here don't vape near their children for many reasons... health being one of them.
I try not to vape around my young one either, but I'm not exactly concerned for his safety as far as the vapor.
I do vape 0-mg nicotine for the most part...
He does love to "smash" vapor rings! Just use common sense and keep the devices and juices waaay out of reach!
vape on!

There have been some studies that show that the risk posed by second-hand vape is negligible.

The more important question is what sorts of behaviors do you want ot model for your children?

The much more important question is what relative risks your children face from toxic foods, clothes and environment? For example, we think of vaping as harmful because it resembles smoking but, in truth, a serving of crispy bacon will put your child in contact with nitrates and othercarcinogens that drastically increase the risk of colon-rectal cancer, fats and cholesterol which contribute to heart disease and obesity, etc. Mattresses, toys, pillows and childrens wear are often treated with flame-......ent neurotoxins that also happen to be carcinogenic--for no real reason. The household paints, cleaners, insecticides, even soaps pose more significant threats than the occaisional second-hand vape.

Let's be careful to prioritize our panic and direct fear to its proper object.
