Thanks guys! Here's one of the problems, I have no idea what a bottom feeder really is... There needs to be a dictionary thread. That was also my idea with the ego, moving up to other mods in the future, once I have a better understanding of everything!

A bottom feeder is a box mod that has a bottle of juice juice inside of it (and a battery of course). Within the bottle there is a tube that feeds from the bottom of the bottle to the 510 atomizer connection. Which is then fed into the atomizer or cartomizer.

How does it feed them? When you lightly press the bottle. The pressure pushes the juice up to the atty/carto. There are a lot of good bottom feeders out there but, the REO is the best I've used. Don't be confused by cheaper imitations that stole the REO's all mechanical function. You get what you pay for in the end.

That's an excellent choice- from a great vendor. I have used him a few times and sent several friends to him. I have one friend who bought that same kit and loves it, no problems at all. I didn't realize his stock had come in or I would have pointed you there too! And the battery life is long, so you should be in great shape. :)

Hello all,

So, I'm now 1 week w/o an analog cigarette! I love to vape, and don't miss smoking at all. Now it's time to get my wife a PV. Well, here's what I'm thinking, I'm probably going to give her my Halo G6, and move up to something more substantial, but I don't really know what I want, so many options! Here's what I like, I love being about to use e liquid, but want a strong flavor and battery life. I want something that is portable, as I'm out most of the day, and am also a touring musician, which means long drives! Do I move to an EGO from a kr808? I would also love to try to build a flashlight mod for the 808, but can't quite find plans for it.

I'm sure this is more of a ramble then a question, there are just so many options!

And so begins your amazing and expensive adventure of using different PV's lol.

If you are interested in the "flashlight mod" you can buy a flashlight AND red laser attachment for 510 batteries. The Flashlight will ONLY work on smaller batts like the joye 510 from what I heard. The bulb might pop on the flashlight if used on bigger batts, this is just what I heard though and I never tested it because I was too scared.

So if you had your heart set on using your e cig as a flashlight, pick up a joye 510 auto or manual. The battery life is shorter than the Halo, but it doesn't suffer in the other catagories like vapor production and all that other stuff.

You could also pick up a Riva 510 ego-style e cig and you can use the laser on that or the smaller joye 510!

I love playing with my cat with my e-cig laser it's so amusing :D

My suggestions:

Joye 510 - can be used with flashlight and laser attatchment found at totally-wicked
Riva 510 - can be used with the laser pointer only. Also has GREAT battery life! Liberty-flights.com carries the Riva 510.

Laser/flashlight 510 attachment - TITAN/TORNADO-Lazer Pointer and Pen Light Adaptors

You get both the laser and flashlight for ~10 bucks plus shipping.

So it came, and is all charged up! It looks great! I am having an issue though, the regular carts that come with it are fine, but when I tried one of the 2.0 ohm carts, it tastes burnt. Maybe I didn't fill it enough before using, burnt it a little, and it tastes bad? Can someone give me a good hint on filling one of these, with a wick? I've never had an issue filling the 808 carts.

+1 for the ego/riva type, boge cartomizers, and FreedomSmokeUSA Juices. Keep on vaping! If you really want an upgrade, there's a mod on MadVapes called the Bolt that's reasonably priced, and with the little extension sleeve it can fit 18650 batteries. You'd be looking at about $70 for an ego or riva kit, and about $100 for the bolt kit.
