nope! RTAs SUCK juice UP compared to dripper RDAs, from my experiences. I HAVE to use RDAs over RTAs, unfortuantely. i would much-rather use tanks, but, they use up juice much faster than RDAs.

We will have to agree to disagree. I feel much the same way about RDAs.

Between 45-50 right now. If I'm doing something wrong please let me know. I'm still newer to this game. Always looking for advice
No, no, no - nothing wrong! It's working for you! :)
Perhaps you're confused about what MTL (mouth-to-lung) hits are: vapor drawn into the mouth only before inhaling into the lungs; similar to a French drag on a cig. Typically done with lower-watt, tight airflow setups like the Tootle Puffers use.
With a Crown and those coils at the wattage you're using, straight lung-hits would be more common usage with the amount of vapor it would produce.

Try a lemo v1 all the benefits of a kayfun none of the downsides and as they are not one of the popular tanks can be had quite cheap also tons of video reviews and forum threads to answer any questions you may have. I still have two in my rotation for when I want simple mtl vapes and tank capacity guaranteed to last you a working day.
I still use my year-old Lemo Drop 99% of the time. Its' draw on wide open fits me perfectly for the way I MTL, and its' flavor production still amazes me. Also, it never gave me issues when I was doing TC.

Once you figure out how many drips your RDA can take without leakage, an RDA is going to save you a ton on juice, because you can control how much your vaping down to the DROP. with a tank, you are at the mercy of how fast your juice is wicking into the coil, which means the thickness/thinness of your juice is a variable, and the airflow becomes a variable as-well, as-does your inhale strength. with an RDA, if you can finely tune (figure out) how many drips it takes to vape 5 to 10 puffs, u are good to go, and, you essentially control how much juice you are vaping right on down to the last drop. I can't vape from tanks, it's tooo expensive. So, I have to seriously maximize the length of time a bottle of juice is going to last me. I usually DIY, but right now all of my DIY supplies are roached/gooked-up and gross, so i've been vaping on Buck-Naked, (gas station juice) and some RY4 I got with my Xmas mod order. (but, I can't use the credit-card again, so, it'll have to be Buck-Naked, unless I can get to the local vape shop before they close. (they close at 3pm every day and I can't even use the car until around that time lol) I need to get back on my DIY game.

I used clearomisers, Tanks. RDAs, and now RTAs.

I left Dripping for a lot of reasons

Leaking, the hassle of Dripping every few minutes, the taste of burning cotton, trying to drip when driving.

If Dripping works for you that's fine but RTAs is what works the best for me.

Where Dripping is concerned I AIN'T GOING BACK THERE.

the flavor w/ dripping used to be unparalleled too.. but, with the introduction of BC-clearomizers and now RBA-BC-tanks, ehhh, i'd say they match the flavor of dripping pretty dern well. so, it's really up to choice. My only peve is dripping while driving. I hate that. I usually have to wait until a red light, unless I'm feeling risky :p whatever works for you! I not only enjoy dripping, I need to drip to conserve juice. just my opinion/experience.

I used the Veritas, Magma, Freakshow Mini, Rogue. n22 and others and the Goblin Mini, Silverplay Nano, and Orchid matches all of them for flavor. Even the lowly Kayfun Lite Plus was only beaten by the Freakshow Mini.

The only dripper that beat all of the RTAs was the Darang. That wasn't mine and couldn't afford it.

Not all RDAs are created equal. Some hold a fair amount of juice, others use juice frugally, and some guzzle juice, same can be said about RTAs. So a blanket statement that they use more or less than a RTA simply doesn't work. It all depends on which RDA you are comparing to which RTA.

My A7 holds 7 drops, and at 3 hits/drop that's ~21 hits before needing to drip again. About like smoking two cigarettes.
That's with a ~2 ohm coil, and using a mechanical mod.

This pic was with a 2.2 ohm coil @ 4v.

ohh man i love the A7, I usually drop around 8 drops into mine. is that a mini or a full size? I've got two full sized. idk how many poofs I get and at what voltage/wattage, but, 8 drops usually satisfies me for around 1 vape. very true. i have no had good luck with clearo tanks and saving juice, though. much better luck with RDAs.
