I just min my own business and don't worry about it. Weird thing is I am a bit more self-conscious n kgoow than I was alsmot 9 mos ago. Started off with a kgo (silver) and now use a hot pink lavatube (which oddly enough makes me think of a virbrator lol). Anyway, live and let live. vape proud and share the wealth (info) if people ask!

I see it both ways. I don't stealth vape when out and about;however, I don't vape most places where smoking is prohibited. I see it as if someone where to sit in front of me and have a cig when I'm not allowed to have a vape it would be fairly rude, so out of respect to smokers, I only vape where they can smoke.

But I think we have to stay out of the habbit of stealth vaping on the go ( in cars or in general public places like parks) to educate those around us

People seriously always stare at me, when im driving, outside of a restaurant, and at work. But its because its just unknown to them. Especially if youre holding like the Silver Bullet, theyre gonna be like whhaaaat? But just dont worry about it. Your the one whos adding days onto your lifespan by vaping instead of smoking!

It really does SUCK. I quit smoking and think GREAT I can vape indoors and not have to sit outside to eat in the hot sun here in FL. Well, sorry to say but NO I cant. I have not found one place that will let me vape inside here in FL. I am sure if I was in a dark bar I could stealth vape and get away with it. Also, I cannot vape at my desk at work in my own office at a bank. I sometimes will vape in the restroom, or just go outside like I use to do. When you are using a Vamo with an 18650 battery and a Kanger 3T, it is hard to hide it. :) But just Keep on vaping and don't go back to the terrible analogs. I think it will only get worse for us before it gets better. People that don't know anything about vaping try to say they don't think they should be EXPOSED to my VAPER. Oh my gosh, GET A LIFE!!!

I was in a store parking lot sitting in my truck vaping the other day when a lady walking by noticed me vaping and she stopped dead in her tracks and stared at me for like 15 seconds before continuing on. I can only suspect she thought I was hitting on a crack pipe or doing something illegal...It was rather amusing at the time.....

I vape everywhere, all day at work - when i stroll into shops, in fact i am never without the thing and nobody much notices. I vape in my car and if anything people are more curious than anything.

However i do not do it in places where smoking is banned because most people that see a cloud of anything will assume it is tobacco smoke. It is easy enough to explain what it is, but vaping in such areas shows a certain arrogance and lack of respect imo and since we are all vapers i think it is important that we show it in a good light, as reasonable, tolerant people - rather than 'it's not smoking so i'll do as i please!'

Yeah, at this point, new as vaping is, I do the same as when I was smoking. Like going to the store, vape my way to the door, stop a while if I want outside, but put it away when I go in.

I know some folks say it's a chance to educate but what bothers me are all the people that will think, "What a horse's rear" (he typed, euphamisizing) instead of, "That is not smoking, I wonder what it is?" and keep going by.

For every one person who may actually say something, dozens will just think you're a twerp who's breaking the rules.

Also, at this point in the game, I'm more likely to end up talking to smokers who have heard about "e-cigs" and are curious. So I ordered ECF cards and carry some everywhere now.

Does anyone ever mistake it for smoking illegal substances?

Quite a lot. Interestingly, a cop has never talked to me about it. Not once. And every single person who's asked me if it was an illegal substance has wanted some.

Every time I see a cop and I'm somewhere I would even think about vaping, I tend to pull it out and vape just in case they havne't seen them yet. I havne't heard a single word yet.

That's why I never try to hide it. It looks sketchier if you stealth vape or try to hide.
