As a smoker I only did so in designated areas at theme parks and the like, didn't inside eating establishments even before it was banned because I loathe the smell of a cigarette while eating so I didn't want to be a hypocrite by doing so. I didn't smoke in the house because people eat in my house and didn't smoke in any vehicle unless it was mine and I was solo or the passenger was a smoker and smoking. My twin brother smokes in his house,I didn't smoke in his house it out habit at home.
I vape in my house but only in my man cave when watching tv or reading. It's what I always wanted to do when I smoked so it's like that old dude that finds the toy in eBay he never had as a kid. Plus I don't feel guilty for not wanting to get off my lazy .... and go outside. I don't vape in my, or anyone else's, vehicle unless I'm solo. I don't vape in stores because I'm not in them long enough to need hits of nicotine usually. I don't vape in tight crowds because I want the excuse to get away from the crowd , whether that crowd is the smoking section or something else. I don't vape in the vape store and I think I'm the only one not vaping every time I go in one.
To me I have rights but also responsibilities for not abusing those rights.
As far as offending someone, just being me is going to offend someone at some point so I'm just going to be the best me I can be and not think twice about it. If my vaping on a public sidewalk outside on a breezy day offends someone 100 yards away they can either ask me to stop or get bent out of shape, doesn't matter to me which they choose.
One of the things I truly enjoyed about smoking was how it made people look at me like I have the plague as they avoided me as far as possible, often telling their children not to even look at me. It gave me the solitude I so desperately crave sometimes. Their judgemental looks didn't and still don't bother me because they're getting out of my space as fast as they can while giving me the stare of death.
Most folks I come in contact with occasionally but regularly don't even know I used to smoke and, unless I tell them, don't know I've switched to vaping.

Yeah max 2 boxes (200 cigg each box)
They're still debating if they should classify it as medical equipment. As of now private people are allowed to order because it's not banned yet. However customs found some way around that so they stop them anyway. "Unknown substances"

Amazing. Cigarettes are okay, but safer e-cigarettes....not.

Ugh.

Let me add that I'm generally toting a mini Provari with me, which looks nothing like a cigarette. Unless I know I'll be stealth vaping, in which case I'm using a Smoktech Gripper which can be easily hidden inside my fist.

How do you like that Smoktech gripper? Never realized how small it is, looks good forth stealth vaping.

I vape openly in public, I'm a proud vapor! I see no reason to hide it, it's been an excellent conversation piece to be honest. That said, I am aware of my surroundings. I didn't smoke around kids, old people that didn't smoke, etc. I vape the same way. I try to be respectful of those around me, to some degree. If I'm outdoors, I vape on! I won't blow clouds in a confined area, but I'm stealthy like a ninja, lol. I feel like if you simply show a little discretion towards other's while in their comfort zone, you've done your part. Common sense seems harder to come by these day's, if you have any...use it!

I wish more folks had discretion and would be respectful with their cheap body sprays and such. I told my wife I was gonna start smoking in the house if the oldest daughter didn't tone down the stink in a bottle. I'm not allergic to much of anything but her Bath and Body works crap was an instant sore throat for me and the rest of the household. She has since started waiting until she gets in her car to spray.

It's a very cool mod, especially for just $10 ($4 more for the extender). It's made of that rubberized hard plastic, but there's really nothing to break on it. The fire button isn't cheap. I've never used it exclusively for more than a couple of hours. I prefer using the extender and putting a tiny cartotank on it. The one shown is a halfling 15mm IBTanked pyrex cartotank. Total juice capacity is less than 1 ml.

My wife is low key. Her lotion has a scent to it,a nice scent, an attractive scent. My 18 year old daughter uses a body spray from BBW but much more low key. It's the 22 year old , college kid, ghetto wannabe, that used to be my daughter (who is she and what'd she do with my daughter), that is the problem. My 6 year old daughter uses Strawberry Shortcake shampoo and body wash and thinks she's up there with the adults. I'm ok with that. My 23 & 20 year old sons haven't taken up the gawd awful habit so many white young men have taken up of not showering so I'm grateful for their use of Old Spice after a shower.

I do know *that* scenario all too well brother! Raised all girls. What in god's name do they put in some of that bottled crap? I always knew when they had dates because my eyes would water and my throat would swell up. From behind closed doors!

And perfume isn't the only smell. I work with a guy who really likes his beer. I mean he REALLY likes it. Drinks so much that's all he smells like and this is when he's sober. Permeates right through his pores I guess. I can't imagine what the poor .......'s liver smells like. Hope he's not an organ donor.

So, since the regulation issue seems to become more and more important here.

Some of you have already answered that. If there were any regulation where you live (God, Allah, Kali or what ever pasta you believe in, forbid). Would you adjust the way you vape in public? By regulation I mean throwing smoking and vaping in the same pot, allowing it only were smoking is allowed.

For myself I have to say I probably wouldn't do anything different. I'm already pretty careful. But I don't see why I should not vape at a bus station for example when I'm the only one there or away from people. Allowed or not. Of course like before I would stop when asked.

Something like your example I'd probably walk a few feet past the area then battery up. When in public I treat it like I did my smoking. If smoking weren't allowed at that bus stop I'd have just walked past the boundary and lit up. But at the same time if the wind were blowing toward that bus stop I wouldn't move further away. When perfume and such is treated like smoking, designated perfume areas I'll rethink things but until then, it's just a smell after so many feet
When I worked at Hechinger we yard workers would smoke outside the gate instead of taking a break. An employee complained because he could smell it over 100 yards away OUTSIDE if the wind blew right. We had to stop smoking there. What we did was start taking our breaks to go out front and smoke and make him cover the yard while we took our break. It made him have to do his job a lot harder because that was an hour each day lost covering 4 of us taking our break 1 at a time vs all at the same time to grab a smoke. It just made him hate us even more for being a smoker. If the wind blew right he still smelled our smoke while covering for us because he was in our work area downwind from the smoking section. It just made him hate us even more but we played by his rules which made him hate us even more.

i agree, we should not expect to be treated different or have different rules than smokers. people like me who vape sub ohm builds with high vg and low nic blow HUGE clouds of vapor. i could easily fog a small room with a few small toots. its unappealing to people. also there is such thing as second hand nicotine, a non smoker sitting in a room with someone vaping 16-24mg nicotine can easily catch a "buzz" off of the nic. think about it, if you were in the non smokers shoes. it would be very aggravating.

Sorry, scientific studies have shown that is just plain BS. And no one is suggesting using an RBA with high VG eliquid in an enclosed space. Most vapers don't fall into that category, anyway.

, I don't know why some of you people say you treat vaping just like smoking, It is nothing like smoking,
You put yourself there that's where you will be.
God forbid that you might offend Some cry baby that is offended by every damn thing.
Getting your nicotine fix and being courteous to others is one thing, Blowing clouds of vap and be an idiot is another thing.
Do you people understand what is going on in this world today,?
Your rights and freedoms are being taken away little by little, While you are thinking of a future 1 year 5 years 10 years down the road, There are many people thinking 20 50 100 years down the road, About how to control the public.
If you think this is a bunch of bull I feel sorry for you

Don't lump me in there.
Just because I have the right to act like an a$$hole doesn't mean I have to or want to.
I treat it like smoking because I WANT to.
I have the freedom to be courteous toward others feelings and I exercise that right. You might be best served to see the difference between compassionate meekness and fearful weakness. They are night and day different.
With freedom comes responsibility. With rights come responsibility.
Those that want to rant and rave because some disagree with their stance are no different than the ones that were described as the cry baby above.
"Can't spot it unless you got it comes" to mind.
Don't feel sorry for me buddy. There's no need to. I go into this world daily with my eyes wide open.
