Hi all,

I'm (relatively) new to the vaping world, and this has been a crucially informative forum for me.

Anyway, I just moved to Saudi Arabia a few months ago for work, and as I'm going back for a bit soon, I've put in an order for some vaping supplies (I have none here).. a Provari, tanks/cartos, a dozen or so 30ml bottles of liquid. I've heard that *technically* e-cigs are illegal here, but that they don't treat it as a big deal. I'm wondering if anyone's had a problem at the airport with bringing liquid or mods in? I did a search on this and found one thread, but wanted more current information. Would definitely appreciate it.

I'll take pics of my supplies and upload them once I have them in hand!

Wow, a tough one.
I think you should look into mailing most of your gear to wherever you are staying there. And take onboard only what you will need to get by. Take a cheaper mod, so if they take it, you aren't out much. If they take the provari, then you are sol.

Hi, ruxmont, and welcome to ECF! I can't help you specifically with the regulations about Saudi Arabia, but I can tell you that going through airport security, in general, with e-cig stuff is relatively problem-free. TSA knows what they are and isn't likely to hassle you. Although you need 5+ posts to post in this forum Travel and E-Cig it might be helpful to look through it to see if anyone has asked a similar question.

Good luck!

They tend to be much more strict on mail than they are at the airport, at the airport they are primarily looking for drugs or alcohol.. I just want to be on the safe side and avoid any hassle (or losing my new Provari :))

Thanks for pointing that out LisaR.

Uhhhh yeaaaaahhh... I would quit before doing anything illegal over there. They lock folks up and throw away the key for far less.

Given that negotiations and foreign policy are skills the people currently running our country lack in a major way, I wouldn't take that chance. If you get locked up, you are staying there.
