Vaping in the Burg (i.e. Luxemburg)

Hello folks

Have taken up vaping 6 weeks ago, couldn't be happier and the switch from analog to ecigs was ridiculously easy.
I am however still utterly lost and confused in regards to vaping, or vaping in Luxemburg. Am the first one of my friends to have done the switch, and there are only a few shops around here, which are hard to reach for me.
I would be grateful for any recommendation re any thread I should read first, how to guides, websites, online tutorials for people like me, I am an utter failure at grasping the merest scientific concepts and a newbie at online forums too, so all I have read until now has confused me even more.
My set up is an Istick 20w beginner set, with a Kangertech Aerotank 2 (1.5 ohm), and I was gifted an iStick 50w with a subohm Delta II Tank (0.5 ohm). Are those ok? What would you recommend a newbie like me? I like both, but wonder if I could do better.

Thanks for your help and patience.

Hello @dissidentdreamr and welcome to the forum and our sanity. You have a nice beginner setup (iStick 20w and Aerotank) and a nice advanced (Delta sub ohm) tank. I don't recommend subtanks for newbies, as the learning curve is large and difficult to walk someone thru it on the forum. It's like you need to learn to walk before you run.

The rule for ANY vape device is the same. Start with low power, take a draw and add more power (wattage/voltage), then take another draw. Repeat as necessary. If your vape gets too warm or starts to taste burnt, back it down.

It's important to know ohms law and other techniques when you sub ohm. You can check this blog for starter : Baditudes Blogs Baditude's blog | E-Cigarette Forum

There is a keyword activated search box in the upper right above your name and avatar. Practically any vape related word or phrase will work in it giving sometimes hundreds of results. I use it often.

If you're interested in sub ohm vape, I'd suggest looking for you tube video's on the specific equipment you desire to use. I am partial to the Kanger Subtank Mini for multiple applications. (factory replaceable coils or a build deck)

If you're going to build your own coils you will need to bookmark this page : Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

If you end up wanting a mod with replaceable batteries you'll need to consider these threads :

Sub ohm vape will deliver more nicotine than the Aero tank above ohm vape and consume more juice. Most people who sub ohm cut their nicotine in juice in half or more (6mg is the average high in my observance).

Good luck in your journey.

Thanks! And glad to hear our steel is travelling around the world (or that people know the place to be honest, we are so tiny that we tend to get overlooked all the time ^^)

Taking inventory today and I remembered telling you that we import beams from Lux, so I snapped a pic for you :)

Awesome, that is so sweet of you :) I grew up in the steel industry area of Luxembourg, so I'd like to think a part of that place made it all the way over the big pond!

Welcome! Thought you meant Pittsburgh, PA (we all it the Burg) .. Glad you are here.

Aw, sorry for the confusion! The many expats living here call our tiny little country the Burg too, no idea why, but it caught on :) Thank you, am happy to be here too, it's a great site with great people!
