Tonight i took my cousin, her boyfriend and my dad home after a family meal. I happily vaped away in the car, relieved to be able to vape in the warm (i didn't want the two little ones seeing it) and the car steamed up really, really quickly. I had the fans on and heated screens to clear it but it doesn't quite cut the mustard and I've been finding that thus has been getting worse for a while now. Is this just 'one of those things' or does anyone have any advice as to how to limit/stop this further?x

didnt mythbusters prove the gas mileage correlation to having your windows down a fallacy?

anywho, i just blow towards the window and crack it, then back up once the vape is out but not because of fogging (i have never had that happen) but because my wife hates my boba's bounty smell and the various knock offs like Saarlac's supper....

lol, couple things

first the A/C will be a larger detriment to fuel consumption than cracking a window. (Mythbusters actually did a show in this very thing).

second the defroster, assuming its cold out should do the trick nicely(the defrost setting on your car/ truck etc also activates the vehicles A/C compressor when you select that setting. So once your car warms up inside it can save you some gas if you just select floor or another setting besides defrost, because the compressor will shut off. the windows fog because the air outside is colder than the air inside. that's why when you first get in the car in the winter it fogs up from the warm breath coming out of you.

I totally mixed the episode you are referring to (with the SUV's) to the episode they measured gas mileage in pickups by lowering the tail-gate, drag was the principle in question and it; i believe, was proven to not affect it.

i don't know the temp where you are ?? but where i am it is below 0. F..so the windows fog up pretty fast unless i crack the back windows to suck the clouds out,and i have the heater set to heat outside air so i am not re-circulating the vape cloud

higher VG content will coat the windows a lot faster !!

Well, I live in Ohio, the most schizophrenic of weather patterns. It can be 60 degrees one day in the middle of winter, and an ice storm the next.

I haven't vaped during the winter, this will be my first winter as a vaper, but I HAVE noticed vaping in my car leaves a very sludgy film on my windows. I can take my finger and draw pictures on the inside of my windshield. Same as the tar and gunk from real cigs. I need to buy some Windex and nab some napkins from work.

Its about -15C here and when i vape in the car then windows will go "foggy" really quickly. after few days its all covered with blue fog and i have to clean it.
thats the only negative thing about vaping :D i used to clean front windows once in few months - now i have done it 4 times in 2 weeks.

It never happened with analogs (ive smoked 13years). I guess it has to do something about vape-smoke because its more like water-fog :D

Maybe its better/good in summer (+20 to +30C) but in winter time (like 3-4 months) we have -5 to -30C .

talking about A/C doesnt help anyway because it wont work under 0C (pump will die because ice is generated).
