With all the impending legislation threatening vaping, I was just wondering if anyone has seen any numbers as to what the current vaping Market is worth? I know it will grow exponentially but what are the latest numbers...

I think I saw $100 Million mentioned once but this must have been for a few years ago... seems like it would be more than that.

Not looking for guesses but if anyone can find stats or articles would greatly appreciate it. I want to add it to my support material when non-vapors question my use as just a novelty or fad that is bound to burn itself out. Thinking of doing a paper on it.

If I can get a few years of numbers I can show them it's more of a movement or evolution to a better safer alternative to smoking. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks in advance and Happy vaping.

The current market value of RUYAN stock is about 50 million US dollars, down from about 500 million in 2007. Guess things didn't take off like the speculators thought they would.

The stock is now sitting near its 5 year low.

Don't know what this means, especially since RUYAN makes some other things besides e-cigarettes. But ,despite our personal enthusiasm for e- cigs, the stock shows no sign that this is a rapidly growing profitable business.

I am pretty sure no one knows for sure, and they almost certainly aren't historical numbers readily available to show any trends. But you might want to contact Bill Godshall at ECA and see if he has anything to offer.

Thanks for the lead. I will try to reach him. I can't believe it's not growing at a fast pace. I seem to convert at least 3-5 people on average a week and am always being hit up for suppliers I like.

I'll check with Mr. Godshall.
