There's a British show called "Inspector Lewis" that I like. On one episode this season Lewis was sitting on a park bench with his temporary partner (his regular partner, Hathaway, was on vacation) and the guy brings out a cig-a-like and starts drawing on it. He even explains to Lewis what it is. He brings it out in a second scene, also. Then, in a later scene, Lewis is talking to Hathaway on the phone and he suggests that Hathaway, who smokes, should try an electronic cigarette to quit smoking.

It was kind of strange, not only because it was the first time I've seen vaping on any tv show or movie, but also because it really didn't have anything to do with anything in the story. It was almost as if the writer of the episode had discovered vaping and wanted to spread the word. Anyway, it was kind of cool.

Johnny Depp uses one in "The Tourist". No explaination really, but he does show it off in one scene on the train. And then when she leaves him on a dock with a packed bag she tells him that everything he needs is in the bag. When he opens the bag, there is money, clothes, passport, and right on top is a cig a like. lol

Even a Volt X2 couldn't have saved that movie. Cripes, what a stinker.
