My problem is now my wife always wants me to carry all of her s%^&t around when we go out!

I've been using a cuxtal for about 10 years now. It's what the mayan men use and was historically for keeping their seed in when planting but many of the Mayans here in Belize use it daily as a murse. I've been to many biker bars wearing mine when I still had my Harley and never once got a snide comment. Even had one custom made big enough for my 15" laptop to fit in.

I've hung out with manly-men most my life, and that's guy-talk/humor. If you're offended, please accept my apology. I don't consider myself to have a limited world view (although I'm blind in one eye lol). I don't expect to change the world or open it's eyes to gross misconceptions, either. That's why I'll stick to NOT carrying a purse. I'll stick to ordering a lager beer instead of some tasy, fruity cocktail when I'm out. I'll stick to wearing bluejeans with a regular leather belt with my Leatherman strapped to the side. Know why? Because I'm a man. I don't need a purse to identify myself, nor do I want to. I'm your average working-class hero, and I won't even open myself to the ridicule of my peers by strapping a womens' accessory to my shoulder.

I carry my wallet, keys, a handkerchief, a knife, a pen, a Leatherman Blast, my G2 (Droid), my PV, an extra carto and extra liquid on me at all times. Most days I have a pair of sunglasses and an insulated coffee cup, too. All that other crap is unneccesary daily-life crap. Leave it at home. Simplify your life, grasshopper.
I've never heard anyone say anything like that to me. I break many norms. Most people I hang out with a really cool. As far as I'm concerned, it's the people who live within a limited world view that never grow in life. Those are the same people who won't try e-cigs because it looks funny. Those people don't really matter. I have no respect for them to begin with. They're certainly never going to change the world.

I guess not, but...

....it sounds like you do need the above to identify yourself as a man though.

I suffered through carrying "too much stuff" in my pockets most of my life. A wallet easily gets too stuffed full of crap for me, and it can be bad on your back to be sitting lopsided.

I am a musician, and the search for the "ultimate band bag" is ongoing. Lots of cables/batteries/things, that loaded up weigh 15 or 20 pounds. My current fave is a camera bag. It's on wheels with handle, or has backpack straps. Lots of pockets and compartments, internal velcro-adjustable dividers.

When I was a few weeks into vaping, both my 510 batteries died, ten hours apart. I had to smoke, and felt bad. I then became excessive, and carried too many spares. JohnnyChingas, yup, a mini-maglight holster is perfect for many small PV's! Now I have gotten into a routine, familiar with my devices, and don't carry much.

At work, I keep enough spare 510 parts to build one in case of emergency, and some juice. My Monday-Friday routine is I take a Darwin with a spare loaded carto, swap the cartos at noon. They will last longer, but no refilling/charging needed at work, and nice to switch up on flavors. I keep a zippered case in vehicle with the same spares, in case I am out in the evening and need something. On weekends around my house/outdoors, I usually use a Boge Revolution 2.x It's a cheap plastic box, fixed voltage, but 1400 mah batts and 10 ml of juice, it needs no attention for all day. I usually lanyard it, because it is a cheap plastic box, I would break it if I stepped on it.

As far as a real murse? When I am going to be gone afoot for any length of time, a real messenger bag is great. Intended for bicycle guys, they usually have a real tacky and wide shoulder strap, no slipping. Depending on what/where I am going, I fill it with tons of stuff, whatever is suitable.

Both in band situations, and elsewhere, I can usually amaze people by pulling out of my bag what is needed. My friends call me "El Prepared-o".

I already carry a lot of stuff on my belt. Keys, Phone, Pager, Radio if things have gone pear shaped etc when I'm working. The good thing about EMS pants is they have lots of pockets so thats where I carry my PV but a lot of PV's aren't "pocket friendly" I did find a little box mod with an on/off switch and a little cig case to carry carto's and some ml bottles in. However when I'm off work I like to wear shorts (Texas summers are hot!) and pocket space becomes a problem. Now when winter rolls around and I'm wearing pants and a jacket it's a whole lot easer to carry stuff. You run into the same issues with a pistol when you have a carry permit and the 511 bag has a holster pocket that helps with that as well!
As for worrying about getting hassled about a bag I'm big and ugly enough I doubt it will be an issue.

I understand a lot of people have a lifestyle or job that necessitates carrying an abundance of stuff...and vaping just adds to it. But I have chosen to keep it to a minimum and the only thing that has changed is the holster for the Roughstack...instead of carrying a pack of smokes in my pocket. But the "European Man Bag" thing is kool and if you need it, then go for it.

I am a girl...and opposed to the "purse" thing....never could get into it...my son took me to his army post gear shop years ago...got a back pack with oodles of pockets carries the e-reader which was the important thing at the time of purchase.... still have it still toss it in the blazer...the vp stuff fits nicely into the eyeglass case of which I have oodles of due to that being my girly obsession a different frame for everyday of the week.....the case fits nice into a pocket still tosses into the blazer with minimal issues and its ok if the partner wants his stuff tossed in too....cracks me up but I toss it in.... As far as a man and a bag well bfd carry what works what people think is usually stated out of their own insecurities not yours...

Sorry, but that sounds waaay too judgmental and, honestly IMO, down right wrong! The next step, a person will be judged by the flavor they do or don't vape...
twitch.gif

Sorry Iffy but I don't get your point or how I was being judgmental. If someone says they do or like a, b and c because they are a(n) x than isn't that person clearly stating they are identifying a,b and c with being x?

I mean how is someone stating they drink lager because they are a man any different than someone saying they vape tobacco juices because they are a man and yet you are coming down on me as the one who will judge a juice flavor? Really????

I drink what I drink and vape what I vape because I like the flavor and not because I am a man or care what anyone else thinks it makes me.
