Just wanted to put my experience of vaping initially down in words and see if others had the same reaction and experience.

I tried a mates PV after smoking for 30 years and was very impressed. The throat hit was good but his choice of flavour tasted weird (bubblegum) and seemed just wrong. Tobacco is tobacco, don't mess with it!!!!!

I got a kit and some tobacco juice and couldn't believe how good it was. Hooked.

However, about a week or so after starting vaping, my nose became very dry to the point my bogies had blood in them. The following week my skin was very dry around my face and hands especially my cuticles.

About a week after that my nose and face were fine and hands were getting better.

One month after initially switching to vaping from smoking I was good. All was back to normal apart from having better taste and smell. No more coughing a lung up in the morning. No more smelling like a nightclub. No more subsidising our government with massive taxes and no more poisoning my body with tar and carbon monoxide.

On the down side. Don't know if one of my supervisors is gay or not but he commented, on several occasions, how good and younger I looked since quitting smoking. I am a team member but draw a line :)

water fixes that problem. If you don't drink enough you might start losing the taste of vaping. Stay hydrated!

If the smell doesn't give 'em away just look at the index and middle fingertips

Yes, there is "clubbing" of the fingertips. Nailbeds are greyish. Lips turn blue with any decrease in oxygen faster than normal. And the skin just has an "off color" to it. It is also much frailer and thinner. It affects the hair follicles, too.
