so I have been off analogs for two months now but the job I'm currently at gives me the opportunity to vape all day. I originally started out with a nautilus and would only vape 3ml or so a day of 18mg nic. Not too bad right? But now I got a Kanger Sub Mini and building my own coils. Due to the increased wattage on my ipv mini 2 I am sucking down 10ML a day if not 12. I lowered the nic to 6mg but my question is how much is too much?

I have never seen an answer on how much is too much. There is some research being done that while not adressing this question directly, may give us an indication depending on how we set up our equipment.

OTOH, the more juice you vape the more 'bad stuff' you may be inhaling, so if you're at all worried about it it's pretty easy to use hardware that performs well at lower power and that will solve the problem for you. If you do need the higher power to stay off cigarettes, IMO you're safer to vape more juice for a while to get rid of the cigarette addiction and then wean yourself off vaping.

Whatever it takes man. I'm in the same boat. Started vaping Jan. 1, after smoking 2 packs a day for 45 years. I started at 24mg for the first month 6 mil per day. Im now at 18mg, but still at 6mil per day. Coughing up lots of nasty .... every morning but I feel better than I have in years. More energy, no more wheezing, no more going outside to light up. I still get a strong urge for a cigarette, but so far, I have managed to quell that. The last 2 years I smoked, I switched from factory smokes to RYO, Took several months for that to take affect, so, I'm sure this will probably be about the same. I wish you good luck on getting off the cigs.

I do anywhere from 7 to 12 ml of 12mg juice. I have multiple tanks and switch between them during the day - usually 4 different flavors a day. I DIY for some of the flavors - the simple single flavored juices so it keeps cost down. But for some of my favorites, I haven't been able to match the flavor yet so I pay for those. I haven't defined what "too much" is for myself yet.

Like everyone else, I can vape 10 mil a day if I use 3mg and sub ohm. On the other hand, if I use 12mg and 1.3ohm, one tank will last me most of the day.

I wouldn't worry too much about over nic'ing yourself. If you get too much, your body will let you know (light-headed, nausea, etc.). If that happens, take a break for a while. Nicotine is only dangerous if taken in large doses at one time (i.e. drinking e-liquid, spilling nic concentrate on your skin, etc.). If you are just vaping when your body tells you "I need nicotine" then all is well.

Maybe consider increasing your nic to 12mg and see if your consumption decreases. Of course, I don't recommend running high wattage with 12mg nic.

I vape at least 3 tank of 2ml tank, in the morning I start with 12mg fire at 3.7 or 4V for half day (some time I get light-headed and nausea, break for half an hour) , before lunch I switch to 6mg for the second half day fire at 4.4V. Before off work I switch to 12mg again for the journey home. At home I don't vape. So basically I vape about 2 ml of 6mg and 3 to 4 ml of 12mg.

These newer clearo tanks CONSUME juice like crazy.

I decided not to use them for that reason.......unless you DIY, you need to be made of $$.

One of the reasons I quit smoking was because I no longer wanted to throw away money on my dependency. I feel the same way about vaping.

Using a REO, with RBA or even a single coil over the counter good atty like hh357 cisco doesn't vaporize your juice away like these new tanks.

I was at 1 3.2ml tank every 12-18 hours...I have long days and the later it gets the more I vape...just as in smoking. I started on 24mg in clearomizers and dropped about a year ago to 12mg on clearomizers. I was a 15 year 2 pack a day smoker.

I just changed to a mechanical mod and rda setup and already know I will be dropping from 12mg to 3mg nic level based off initial hit and feel....I can tell I'm getting more nic with the setup than the clearomizer.

I started diy juice last fall because I was spending almost as much on juice, wether 12mg or 24mg as cigs...I've saved tons making my own...research and learning pays off in that area. So far I think I'll save more because using lower nic levels and making my own juice...but how much I actually vape on the rda vs clearomizer is yet determined.
