Dripping is a term used for rebuidable dripping atomizers (rda's - Google it). They are called that because you drip the e-juice directly onto the wick.

For future reference, use the search function in the upper right hand corner of the site. With a forum this large and populated, it's likely that most questions you have, have already been covered.

Dripping is a way of vaping.

A rebuildable dripping atomizer (RDA) is basically a coil & wick in a chamber with only a small area to fill with juice, as opposed to a rebuildable tank atomizer (RTA) which has a large reservoir of juice.

A lot of people state that dripping is the best way to get the most flavour out of your juice.

Oh ok, thanks everyone. Someone told me they don't "vape" they drip, so I thought it was a different thing. But I guess it's more of a clique term.
Indeed. And since all dripping is vaping, but not all vaping is dripping, anyone who wants to vape in every possible way will have to include dripping in their répertoire. They'll also have to include vaping in outer space, vaping at the bottom of an ocean, vaping while falling from an airplane and vaping while unconscious.

If they can drip while doing those things, then it'll be a truly remarkable accomplishment.

One small step for vaper, one giant leap for vaping kind.

inhaling the vapors from an atomizer is vaping... your friend must be dripping the juice directly onto the tounge :)

We all understood what she asked even though she asked it wrong, no point clinging to semantics.

People who drip will state it provides the best flavor.
People who don't drip will ask "why do need big clouds" just because they don't know what they're missing.
Yes it's less comfortable but it's totally worth it.

6 of 1 half a dozen of the other.....

I don't drip. But I use a dripper. I discovered the Reo, and had a Trident V2 modified.

The reason that dripping is regarded as being superior (opinions differ) is because a lot more heat can be applied to wicks that are fully saturated. If you crank a Protank II up to 30 watts (or all the way up on "insert mod here") you will get a nasty burnt taste.

By dripping, we are able to keep our wicks fully saturated, and therefore get the most flavor and vapor we possibly can from our devices. My Reo takes away the hassle by shooting juice up through the bottom of the atomizer, rather than me carrying a bottle around and dripping through the top. Dripping is messy, and downright dangerous if you're driving. The Reo eliminates that

Happy vaping!

to ecf Azulsky. Everyone has explained dripping to you which by the way I love. If you find that you like it too, you may look into getting a reo grand. It is absolutely the ultimate dripper because it has the juice right there just waiting for you. So much easier than counting drops. I have been vaping for over a year and I was very happy. After I got the reo........I was even happier. I will never use anything else. Good luck to you and happy vaping. Glad you are here. There are so many wonderful people on ecf. :)
