First off, it's been roughly 10 days since I quit smoking (pack and a half a day) and started vaping. I have a Nautilus tank with BVC coils and I occasionally get a burnt taste now and again so I think I know what the dry vape tastes like. Yesterday my throat was getting real scratchy and irritated and I felt like I was getting a little cold. Today was real bad, could barely talk this morning and throat has been real sore today. Every hit I take tastes like a dry hit and it's bugging me. I primed the coil, switched to a new coil, changed juice and still a burnt taste. Do you guys think it's because my throat sucks right now that this is happening and do you think vaping is making my throat worse? Unfortunately I still need the nic so vaping isn't going to stop but it's quite irritating (my throat) and that every hit tastes like crap.

try some nic gum so you could skip some vapes

I suppose that could have been an option but I need to smoke something. I need that visual of smoke leaving my mouth to really fulfill my addiction. I've been cramming my body with vitamin C so hopefully this will go away. I have surgery on Wednesday and I'm worried there could be issues if I have something. I REALLY REALLY badly want a nice, delicious hit of this Retro Plasma that I've been loving....

I think in a situation like that you should pick up a disposable cigalike to use for a day to give your throat a break.

With experience, or if you use a dripper, you can better tell if your coil is too dry instead of sucking in toxic fumes first.

what power watts and what nicotine strength have you been using?
