I have this ugly head cold: sinus infection, sore throat, sinus pressure on ears and everything else, sneezing my head off, etc. etc. etc....
My taste buds are gone. The juice I am vaping now taste like @#$%. That's how I knew I was coming down with this. It just started tasting funny. I then tried other juices with the same results. They tasted like @#$%
So I went to my Dr. who is also a fellow Vaper and she gave me some ideas on cleaning your clearos and EVODS to help get rid of this.
Draw a half sink full of very hot tap water. Hot enough that it burns to put your hands in. Then put in 5 cap fulls of bleach. With clearos such as CE4s and CE5s take the tip off of your tank, roll the silicone O ring off of it and put the tip in the bleach water. EVODs: Take the EVOD apart. Put the tube itself into the bleach water. You can still use the Atomizer in another EVOD tank. The threads are compatible with all of your EVODs.
Let these sit in the bleach water for atleast a half an hour. Take the CE4/CE5 mouth piece or EVOD Tank out of the water and rinse very thoroughly. let air dry for 24 hrs. Repeat this every 4 hours with the mouth piece or tank that you are replacing with.
Now you can hand dry these if you done have enough for a 24 hr rotation like this. On the mouth pieces for the CE4/CE5 you can dry with hand towel and work a Qtip into the opening. As for the EVODs: Take a paper towel and fold it 3 times in 1/2 inch increments. Tear along the 3rd fold. Bend in half. Turn EVOD tank upside down and work paper towel into tank around center tube. You can use a flat head screw driver from a glasses repair kit to help. Once you get past the center tube begin to twist Tank and push slightly on paper towel. You will see that the paper towel will go in. Once paper towel is in, twist tube around paper towel.
To dry center tube: Roll the tip of a Qtip between your fingers to thin it out. Then work the Qtip down into the center tube through the top. Smack the bottom of the tank against the palm of your hand. If you get any water return then you repeat both steps. If not then you are good to go..
