I got a Volt a bit over a week ago. I like it, BUT, nothing tastes like anything

I got watermelon cartos from Volt. They had a faint flavor, pleasant enough but I was looking for MORE

I have gotten samples from vapor god and honeyville and just dripped some into the cartos, and I just don't get any flavor. I don't want to fill a whole carto with a liquid until I see if I like it so I have just been putting a few drops in. I know I have liquid because I have vapor and sometimes it leaks out the bottom

I have some triple strength coming but I am not sure if that will help. I am getting sick of trying flavors only to have them either taste like nothing, or taste icky. If I was blindfolded I would not be able to pick out what flavor there is.

I can get a slight flavor with cinnamon, like a taste of chewed big red gum, but it makes me cough so won't be able to do that all the time.

I am thinking of trying a clearomizer- would that help? I am worried when I read of the problems there are with them tho. I am too much of a newb to do a lot of screwing around

I am getting frustrated and am disappointed. I was expecting more. I am spending too much money on something that was supposed to save me money.

Do I need a better set up? I was trying to avoid the giant ecigs, but wonder if they would get the flavor out of these liquids?

Of any e-cig attribute, flavor is the most subjective and individual. It is dependent on the e-liquid, of course, but also on the cartomizer (style, juice-feeding effectiveness, and resistance), battery voltage ... and on the taste buds of the vaper. The VOLT cartos are very popular. It seems that most folks who use them enjoy them. I enjoy them, but prefer others, e.g., the new Elite 808 ... and (for 510 connections) the smok Tech Dual Coil and Smok Tech 1.7 ohm Single Coil.

All that having been said, I think your problem is: "I don't want to fill a whole carto with a liquid until I see if I like it so I have just been putting a few drops in." That would work fine with an atomizer, but not with cartomizers. They must be entirely filled. I do it until juice just begins to drip through the battery end (and then wipe it off).

Have you tried other flavors of prefilled cartomizers (which would already be effectively filled)? [I wouldn't get much flavor sensation from watermelon myself.] I especially enjoy VOLT's 555, but all their tobacco flavors are not bland.
