From 3F? Did you choose EMS/ePacket for $2.50 or $3? If so you should get it in about a week, worst case 8 days.

If I order such that my packages are despatched Monday, I usually get them Saturday - five days. But any other day of the week takes a little longer because of the weekend, and this time we have bank holiday Monday as well.

But I'd definitely expect you to have it before end of next week as long as you chose EMS/ePacket.

Received the SXK TC Flask today. Running dual Ti01 coils. 26g, 8 wraps 0.16 ohms. 550 F. A little messy under the hood but it performs great.

HI GUYS, I Have two sxk boards with torn ribbon cables to the screen. This renders them completely inert. Is there any place that will replace the screens? I have a couple of mods That I would like to put these into if possible.

Thanks in advance
Gary
Some folks have done it themselves. You can buy the screen/cable combo from various places. They are a standard part. You should be able to find a supplier by searching the forum. It takes a careful hand with the soldering iron but you can remove and attach those plastic cables. Use lots of flux, align carefully using the hole at the end of the cable for alignment. Get a small drop of solder on the tip of your iron and brush it over the mounting area.
I don't know of anyone or any place who will do it for you. It can be done.

Ironically, the best place to buy a replacement screen for a DNA40 clone in the US is from Evolv. $7.50 shipped.

They don't (or didn't) list them as a product on their site, you have to submit a tech support ticket and ask for one, they'll give you an order number and then you shoot them a Paypal.

That said, I think the SXK display is a hair larger than the "standard" 0.69" display Evolv uses and that most of the other ChiNA40 clones use. It'll still work though.

Yeah SXK used 0.74" for some reason.

EDIT: the cheap Chinese screen I posted has 14 tracks, not 8, and thus is almost certainly not compatible. Removed.

The evolv and clones oleds only have a 8 track connection and the one posted above is something like 14 track? It looked to wide from the off and doesn't look like it's a direct replacement.

Ah thanks! So not compatible. I'll edit it out.

The screen on my sxk 60w vapor flask has also died. Looks like when it was put together the cable for the screen was folded over damaging it. I can't seem to find where to buy a replacement screen and cable so if you could post a link to where i can get one i would be greatful. :)

I have Zero 60w TC mod (sxk chip).
I press Fire button during installing battery in .... and now my screen is garbled (text is unreadable, characters seems mirrored upside down)
is there any help to reset it back to normal mode ?

nYjpQmy.jpg

Yikes, sorry. I've never heard of that before.

But I do know that the SXK, unlike most other mods, is powered on as soon as the battery is in. This even causes some little sparks to be visible on the battery caps. I guess holding fire has caused some kind of surge once power was available?

Do what @SteveAdams86 said, that's your only hope I'm afraid :( If it's still garbled, then I fear you've burnt something out. Sorry. It's a bad design of the SXK to just be on automatically all the time.

I am not an expert, but my guess is that if the mod works fine, it's the screen itself that has become damaged. If you have a soldering iron, your option is to replace the screen - go back a couple of pages in this thread and you will find description of screens for sale, a clone screen on eBay (from Greece), or the authentic from Evolv.
