after over 5 weeks of waiting i have finallllllyyy got mine. So far so good, temp is working great, finish is also good.
will be testing these

1)Temp control - WORKED 420,430 dry cotton. No burn, barely any colour change.
2)Battery
3)USB Charging

Give me couple more days of playing around, but so far its good on my UD goblin

Update
1)Temp control - Still working good except for once. This morning woke up and fired it and it was not firing properly, the ohm was 0.01 off. i took my atty off for 15 min than after it asked me for new/same. did new coil since it was not calibrating properly. And back to my orignal 0.16 build. After that it is working 100% fine.
2) Battery - it is draining from both 18650. You MUST not hear any rattle when you shake your device. you cant hear it but you will feel it.
3)USB charging - Currently in process. i m not going to estimate my time since it is proven it is 500mah for usb charging which leads up to about 10-12 hours of charging.

****one questions guys. for USB charging will the battery bar stop moving up and down once its done? and is it safe to do overnight. i m bit concerned about this because i dont want it to overcharge. PLEASE let me know ASAP*****

I remember not being able to use my flat tops in my provari. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Yup I loved their high-tech rev protection - notch the pcb and at the time they were and still are pretty expensive for what they are. But I still like the over-all quality but would be hard put to buy the P3.

I have probably tried 20 different RTA's and 20 different clearos and only ONE has not ever leaked :toast:

the Kanger Subtank

- so not even interested in trying any more leaky ridiculous crap.

What you need to do is get your build game up. I've got all sorts of rta and not one leaks when built correctly. Unless they are upside down of course.

Ummm, I can build with the best of anyone, and a correctly engineered RTA should not leak at ANY angle, this Subtank can be upside down for hours, carried in pocket, bounced around in the trunk of the car, it doesn't care!

I no longer make excuses like that for any of these leak-prone others, I am now spoiled with good engineering, finally, after 4 years of half-... engineering

Also, even if someone is an awful coil builder, the Kanger Subtank will not leak if you assemble it correctly.

I also love the fact that it is one of the few that you can rebuild your coil without losing any juice, I vape expensive WTA and I do not like waste due to redneck ...... engineering!

I recently received my Kangxin V3 Flask (from 3FVape, model #1660). It seems accurate and works as advertised. Build quality is great too. I understand all of the modes ( sleep, lock, stealth, temp control etc.) and they work fine, but I don't see any way to completely power it down without removing the batteries. Am I missing something?

Nope
let it set long enough it goes into deep sleep mode, no need to power it off.

So aside from unknown performance on this version -
$71.97-$72.63 VF V3 Style Temperature Control 40W Clone Mod - Black

Is the overall look and finish faithful the original?

So IMHO, that's the flask that Sunlay makes which is also carried by 3F. I have one coming now, so I can't speak to finish, but It looks pretty spot on, based on the photos. You should know, if that is the Sunlay versions, the pin is non-adjustable.

It also looks like Sunlay has stopped with the 1:1 engraving on the flask as well, for they have changed the pictures on 3f to flasks with no engraving on the bottom. Maybe fear of legal action has made them stop ripping off VF's logo.

No - Even the real McCoy has no "Turn off procedure" beyond the one hour timeout that puts the unit into deep sleep or off (you pick what you want to call this mode).

I bought mine from Focal and until yesterday the logo was pictured - it's been shopped out.
I bet the Delrin and center from a Fatdaddy 510 will fit that connection.

I had ordered that one, due to it being the only black one with usb that focal had when I ordered, but then yesterday they added the black Kangxin with usb charging, I prefer the finish on the Kangxin, so asked to change my order over to the Kangxin instead, glad I did, because the Kangxin shipped today, now fingers crossed for fast shipping :D
