I don't have any delay on mine at all, other than when it wakes from deep sleep and flashes "KX-40D".

so when you press fire at your flask coil response is immediate?
here is what happens when I do that on vapor flask
- press fire, after one sec coil starts to produce vapor

and on DNA40 I press fire button, right away there is vapor

I hate to go on about it but there is also this..

This Silver Vapor Flask dna 40 Version 3 brings stainless steel 510 connection(non spring loaded) and brass battery cover. Many vapers have waited for those features for so long. Now it comes finally. The only pity could be non spring loaded connection. You can adjust you atomizer to fit it though

Sounds like its a fixed 510 to me..

that is no good, i am going to msg them now.

Can't remember where I saw it but the preheat function on the original dna was much more aggressive than on the clone. It did have some preheat but it was a smooth curve instead of a sharp peak like on the Evolv's units

Sent from my keyboard through my phone or something like that.

I was thinking too that this could been connected with preheat option on dna40. But I verified that my flask is working in the same way as others, that is what is important for me

looks like I have to cancel my order...

"The fixed center pin is made from brass;"

not all my attys have adjustable 510 connectors, deal breaker for me. :(

SOOOO Close! Maybe next version.

sadly i upgraded to the new version this morning and i may have to downgrade again tomorrow :(
i like using my atlantis with OCC coils and i'm afraid of it not working with that 510.

How difficult is the change with a varitube 510?seems like an easy job for someone with soldering tool/experience...

Sent from my Kayfun lite + using Tapatalk

it should be quite easy to do, but still why should i do it myself if could wait for the copper/brass one and see if it wears out or not and replace it later if needed
OR pay more for the one where i have to replace it on arrival .
Also they confirmed that the devices were build by another manufacturer and we don't know whether it's built worse or better.
I don't know about you but somehow i don't trust someone who uses a non adjustable center pin.

My thoughts exactly, i don't want to have to soldering anything myself, if i did i just replace the whole board with a real dna40. I can't imagine it is that hard for them to just put in a damn spring loaded 510 connector...

they are just releasing slow upgrades, to make us spend more money... damn marketing.

i think it's more like they release every unit they get. those vapor flasks are scarce because the factorys didn't catch up after CNY, the fasttech forums are full of people complaining that their flasks take to long to restock. No one knows when the next batch will be finished, and honestly i don't know when the flask from 3fvape will ship and whether they're actually in stock or not.

Yeah, I actually was getting my flask from FT, but once i saw the new 510 ss I jumped shipped and went to 3fvapes, not realizing that the bloody 510 connector was not adjustable... seriously such a fail. Now I got to cancel my order from 3f, and ill just wait until they have the 510ss with a spring loaded connector.

Well...at least we know where the clone in this post came from now.

If that's zeroohm's clone 3F is selling now, I want one. I can change the top connector in 10 minutes if needed but look at the finish and line up. Much better than what I've seen.

Oh, that's if I liked the VF in the first place but it's not my cup of tea... Too bulky?

"I want one"

It's amazing how fast the OCD can set in even if it is a Flask. :D

I'll bet it would handle any special 510 connector you wanted to stick in it. :p

Right behind you...
the guy didn't even confirm where he bought his flask :D

ZeroOhm bought it second-hand, and the guy he bought it from didn't tell him where it came from. He posted here to ask our help in figuring out who made it.

I don't think it's too bulky...bigger than an iStick 50w, but still pretty small in the hand.

Quick size comparison. From left to right: Beyond Vape Beacon mech, Innokin MVP 2.0, VF clone (duh!), Cloupor Mini

Croak, and others.

Any one having issues with the flask and Kayfun V4s? I have a SXMini and it fires all of my (5) Kayfun V4 clones fine.
With the flask (and I rebuilt it this AM, 8 wraps, 2.5mm, .17 ohm) at times it goes into immediate TC Protection, other times it tells me that the atty is "open", it is quite inconsistent.

If I put a 1.8 ohm Nautilus it fires fine but of course that is bypassing the whole TC piece.
