It won't work with any of my attys so I'm guessing the piece of garbage is dead already.
Well it does have an adjustable 510 pin, turn it out to where it's for sure contacting the atty and then some maybe and condemn it if it still doesn't work.

Are you sure the 510 pin in the mod is baking contact. Sometime they get pushed down and don't make contact. You can check it by taking 1 foot of your Ni200 and touching one end to the ground on the 510 connector and the other end to the positive pin in the 510 connector. If you mod is not FUBAR you should be able to read the resistance of whatever the resistance is for one foot of your wire should measure.

If you are not sure what it should measure post back here and I will look it up for you. Just let me know if it is Ti or Ni200 and what the wire gauge is i.e. 30, 28 or 26 etc.

Craig,

Are you sure it is adjustable. A lot of these 510 connectors lately have a slot that looks like an adjustment but if you read the fine print they warn you not to twist it.

I don't know on these clones if what I am say applies - I'm just saying be sure before taking a screw driver to it. ????

Its not spring loaded. Its an adjustable pin.

I even tried resetting it by removing the batteries and putting them back in.

I tried it with 5 attys.

Spring loaded are not adjustable but not all fixed pins are adjustable and twisting them can break or damage the power lead.

Please try the wire trick I mentioned above it is a sure fired test to determine if your Mod is functioning or not. Just make sure you only hit the fire button for an instant so the wire if it fires doesn't get hot and burn you.

Well, mine is a Kangxin, and that 510 he's showing I'm pretty sure only came on the Kangxin Flasks.
If it comes to it, I can replace either or both the 510 and chip, but its a bummer it croaked so quickly.

I'm eating now, but I'm going to clean the 510 and check it again.

OK I will still try to find the resistance for you.

One oddity also is that pin isn't reverse threaded.

Glad you found the trouble nothing worse than a new toy that doesn't work.

By the way you may want to save this number 28 Ga Ti is 1.7688 ohms per foot.

I only paid $39 for it, but it is annoying when your new toy acts up that quickly  I was warned about the 510, but still wanted it to work at least a few days so I have time to order a new one.

As for the chip, glad its ok. Down the road, if I like the mod, I may replace it, but I haven't had good luck with the Evolv chips either.

I'm not a big tc user yet anyway, but even if I only use it for kanthal, its nice to have another dual battery mod.

Well I have one of the Vapor Flask Mods and I didn't have good luck at first and had to send it in for repair (Evolv DNA40) and it cost a Hel!! of a lot more that $39 dollars and way more than I should have spent. But one you get TC going I think you will find it hard to go back to Non-TC.

Anyway glad you are up and vaping Roxy. I salute your ability to stick with it and find the problem.
