Earlier this week, I got my first ecig, a DSE901 and was very impressed. But within several days, I started having problems with one of the batteries, soon both batteries and then the atomizer gave up the ghost. The vendor stood behind his product (Steve at PureSmoker, who was true to his word) and promised to send me a replacement as soon as he got the defective parts back. Which is great, but I was three days without analogs at this stage and the thought of the waiting for the mail to send the parts there and get them back made my eyeballs twitchy as I had already promised the wife that I was done with analogs.

Worse, I had ordered a spare atomizer and some carts and juice and they were all sitting there mocking me. I had two thirds of an e-cigarette in front of me. Which is analogous to having a full pack of smokes and nothing to light them with. We've all been there, you KNOW the horror.

Enter the Vapor Guys. Of all the suppliers that advertise on the web, these were the only guys to publish a phone number and actually answer that phone. I spoke to Kurt who, while probably sick of answering a bunch vapid questions from me, was patient enough to answer them and explain that I could use my atomizer with his gear and explained how I could get it shipped quickly.

I was a bit vulnerable at this point - I had made that promise, you see, and any amount of money would have been worth not having to admit failure to the wife. If I had come home last night covered in blood with an axe and a duffel bag full of heads, her first question would have been : "Did you smoke while killing all these people?" You see my dilemma.

But the Vapor Guys rates were more than reasonable (there is an outfit out there that advertised overnight at a rate of 54USD - I was vulnerable, but not an idiot, well, not a complete one anyway). And although that phone call happened between 5 and 5:30pm ET yesterday, I am now puffing away at a mini from the Vapor Guys, 17 hours later. That's impressive.

A phone number advertises a whole different level of commitment to customer service and these guys followed through on that commitment. I can't say enough about how that human contact gave me the confidence to ask the questions I needed to and to really understand what I was buying and how to get it. I heartily recommend these guys, especially to noobs like me. Check them out.

I haven't yet ordered from Vapor Guys, but I do have some nice words to share about them.

I was interested in their e-cigar, but couldn't figure out what exactly the kit came with. Plus, I wanted to know if I could order an extra atomizer and an extra battery for it because I didn't see those parts listed.

Sent an e-mail to them, and they called me within a few hours, happy to answer all of my questions. Alas, they didn't carry spare parts for the e-cigar. Quite understandably, they wanted to judge the level of interest in it before committing to stocking parts. But since spare parts weren't available through them, I decided to pass on an e-cigar . . . for now.

Anyway, I was terribly impressed that they took the time to call me and answer my questions.

I also like the fact that they don't make outrageous claims about how long a cartridge will last. 5-10 cigarettes is about right, and, as they say on their website, it may be even less than that if you're a vapor fan.

Great reviews! I have one to add: Jane at electroniccigarettesales. I bought my first two kits from her and she called me and talked for over an hour, answered ALL my noob questions. I also loved her honesty- absolutely no bull. That was three weeks ago and I've been happily puffing on my titanium penstyle. The battery lasts all morning and afternoon, and so far, nothing has crapped out on me. Thumbs way up for Jane, too!

So far i have ordered from Jane, Katy and Steve. All have given excellent customer service.

I have read some previous posts giving the Vapor Guys a very good review. I will be in the market for a penstyle as soon as the funds are available so will definitely check them out.

Anyone else notice that we all generally know and refer to the people we buy from by their first name more than their business or company name.
