Vapor is not smoke. We need to start posting that statement everywhere. Everywhere. If I had the money for billboards, I'd plaster that 4-word slogan all over the country.

I like it, Elaine. Especially since it is such a plainly obvious statement. I am constantly struggling to not sound condescending to people, but honestly it is hard to not be condescending when we are constantly needing to explain something that people should have learned in elementary school: Vapor is not smoke. I figured that out a LONG time ago, but some full grown and otherwise intelligent adults can't seem to grasp the concept.

Perhaps we should try to call it "fog" instead of vapor to appear less pretentious... OTOH, "I think I'll go have a fog" might sound like you're making fun of British smokers.

That is why when some asks me what my e-cig is I tell them it is a vaporizer and then go onto explain further if they want. Some people immediately think smoke and "bad" when they hear anything-"cig."
