I've been trying to figure out what e-cig would be right for me starting off, and I think I've decided on the Vapor King. I was just wondering if this is a good idea or if I'm getting in over my head, because I've never seen anyone recommend it for beginners. I definitely wanted a manual battery, and it seems right for me because the starter kit on V4L has everything I'll need, mainly the USB pass and the PCC, because I'm on the computer a lot at home and where I work I don't have access to a wall outlet or PC (coal mines are pretty primitive on site :p ). I've also learned that these are pretty low maintenance for the most part, with the cartomizers and whatnot. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks a lot!

Hi Justin, VERY beginner friendly. Refilling is a snap, if you do really burn up an atomizer it's no biggie as they're semi disposable anyway. That being said I'm careful to not vape them too hot through rotating a few carts throughout the day, and to not vape them totally dry before topping off with a few drops of juice. As a result I am getting tons and tons of refills on my carts, making things rather economical as well. ;)

Oh and buy an extra long batt, it's not going to recharge easily as the PCC won't close with it but it will recharge if you can set it somewhere open. That being said, you probably won't be having to recharge it much, they go and go forever! DO buy some juice, refilling is too easy and can get you by until new carts come when you reorder. You'll be vaping lots at first because they're just so good, so make sure you have enough product!

My rather noobish advice to another noob, good luck!:D

I think the "lovely parting gift" has already been claimed!! ;-)

Nope, I have been giving away 510 parts and carts like crazy to people who are 510ers and seem to like it. Was going to hold onto some of the stuff in case of prohibition lol! But seriously, I would never go back to the 510 and would rather give it to people who need it. I had enough to outfit like 6 people and carts to go with it! :D

I have kept back one unopened 510 starter kit Black Titan. An unopened platinum PCC case with platinum atty and battery, and a few unopened black mega batteries with attys and several boxes of carts. They are here and waiting for someone who buys a VaporKing kit and doesn't like it and wants to swap. So the offer still stands. And I know Phoenix also has stuff she would love to trade... ;)

Having come from several different models, I WISH I had started with this one! I can't think of a better ecig for someone to start with. That said, I can't think of any reason that someone would go to another model afterwards unless they are a 'fiddle-maniac!' You won't regret it, I promise you.

I just got my first e-cig yesterday and have been vaping on it since. I have smoked 4 or 5 analog cigarettes, but that has nothing to do with the quality of my VK. It is a transition phase and I'm trying to decide if I like using an e-cig. But you can't go wrong with the VK especially as a newbie. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase decision.

Justin -

The VK was the first E-cig i purchased and I am very happy with it. I haven't smoked since i got it. Its very user friendly and refilling the carts is a breeze. Def. make sure you get some juice as the carts REALLY come to life when you refill them. Not that they're not amazing prefilled, just better when you fill em at home IMHO. you can't go wrong with the VK

Okay guys thanks a lot for the feedback, I think you just bought me on the VK. I was hoping that I would enjoy my first one enough that it would be a while before I wanted another, and it looks like this is it. Now I just have to wait for work to pick back up before I can order one :(

While I'm here I'll ask another question, I'm probably going to order a 20ml bottle of Camel juice, because that's what I smoke now, and some 5ml bottles of flavors to try. What flavors do you all prefer?

My first and only also. Was going to try something different, but after I thought about it I figured why bother, I love this thing. Haven't had an analog since Aug 22 and i can't live without 11mg marl-boro carts. Not to mention coffee, 555, cappuccino. The chocolate, peanut butter and cuban cigar is also pretty good.

Okay thanks scott, I'm certain coffee and cappucino will be my favorites, I'm almost as addicted to coffee as I am smoking (maybe more). What does the RedCow taste like exactly? This may sound stupid but I really like the color of these carts and I'm planning on getting black batteries starting off so they will look good together haha.

RedCow is supposed to taste like Red Bull, which it does to a certain extent...I am not a fan of it much.

The aftertaste does taste like RedBull though, but am more a tobacco/fruit flavor guy myself.

Good choice for a first ECIG btw...I fumbled through countless products before finding my way here, and wish I would have come here first.

Welcome Justin! You will love the VK! And the V4L crew is fantastic! As for flavors, order the smaller bottles of juice until you find the flavors that you really like. My boyfriend smoked Marlboro Lights - the M'boro carts taste the way an unlit Marlboro smells, if that makes any sense. Have not tried the other tobacco flavors yet but we're still in the exploring stages.
If you are a coffee addict, you will love the coffee carts! They taste like coffe flavored hard candy & the cappucino tastes like coffee with cream and sugar. Very yummy!

The VK was my first as well and if there was a mistake to make I made it :p
I smoked almost 2 packs of analogs a day and THOUGHT I was a heavy smoker and could handle the high juice. about the 5th day I overfilled a 6 mg cart with 36 mg nic and was vaping it the same. I got juice in my mouth, I was inhailing all wrong ( not holding it in my mouth I was trying to get the same feel as from a analog. SO I was direct throat hitting it. and then I had a Nic reaction. Which is NOT fun. my adivce to you is yes the VK is a awsome product and it can help you but to be careful when ordering juice and carts in too high a mg I suggest getting a few of different levels and starting off lower then you think. aslo a reminder to keep your nic products away from children and pets as Nic is a posion and can be deadly if ingested by them.
All in all I still love my VK and im still trying to use it but this time I am being more careful
Labeling my carts properly and my little craft box I keep them in as well. Hope this helps:)

Phoenix is at the ready. If you (or anyone reading this thread) do not like the VK, I have 510s, 801s, and 901s with your name on them. Seriously, if you hate it, I am your back up. I mean this. I know we joke a lot around here, but I was just love a PM from anyone (even you lurkers - know you are out there - buying up my beloved pineapple cartomizers) that says they are not satisfied with a VK and wants to swap. I have chargers, attomizers, carts, heck I will even throw in some juice. All you have to do is PM me and we can swap - easy as pie.

I have a couple E9's I can add to that offer, if the person is looking for a 2 piece...
