Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a little problem I have.

My 510 connector pin on my VS does move anymore (not springing back up into position) Once it gets pushed down by an atty it stays at that length. I have to physically open up the VS and move the pin back into position. It becomes a problem when some attys are shorter and they won't reach the 510 connection.

Is there a way to fix this problem? without soldering, I tried to look it up online but was not able to find anything that could help me fix this issue.

Thanks.

I had the same issue with my shark and had to send it back for them to fix it along with my firing button sticking. I'm on my last couple of days for the warranty now. Wish they had a better warranty. If yours is still under warranty send it in. They will send you a pre paid label that you can print if you have a printer if not you will have to pay and they do send it back for free. But be warned on the pre paid shipping label as they only have $50.00 insurance on it so I added more and when they ship it back they didn't have any insurance on it and sent it first class mail.
You would think with as much as it cost they would insure it for the value but to save a couple bucks they didn't and to save even more no insurance on the way back. I must say I was upset as if it didn't make it to me I would be screwed. I will never buy another Vapor Shark product again. I think the device isn't the greatest since all the paint is also coming off the top and I don't even put my tanks on tight. So looking elswhere for something that is made better

Shortly after buying the rDNA40 I bought a vaporflask. Much better device, worth the extra $. Once I pick up another higher quality single battery dna40 device I'll be getting rid of the vaporshark. Mine also has the peeling paint issue, and I had to send the first one back due to a glitch. I'm currently on the list for the new tiny 121steam dna40, but it's still in the design process. I believe he just finished the 3D file for the preproduction model. Smallest single 18650 dna40 out there.

The quality control of the mods being put out the door is pathetic. There are batches that get out the door with a flaw on them every day. I bought the very first Vapor Shark R-DNA 40 and I have yet to have the first problem with it. My Vapor Flask was faulty right out of the box. My friend bought one a day later from the same place. Guess what? It had the same problem. I'm not saying one is better than the other. I'm saying that when these companies change something with their mods, they don't test them properly before putting them out the door. These changes can include process, design, and materials. Imo, it's the customer support that will determine my loyalty. Vapor Flask lost me as a customer when they sent me my flask back after repair. They sent me the tracking number 3 days AFTER it was delivered to the wrong mailbox . Luckily my flask was tracked down and returned to me. But the "what if" in that scenario makes me sick to even think about it.

Tapped from my LG G3
