Vapor to cigarette nicotine equivalent question

Ok guys, does anyone know aproximatly, how much 4ml @ 18mg/ml of ejuice would equate to in terms of like standard cigarettes like blue exportA or malboro or whatever smoked in a pretty non wasteful way. (What I mean is that i would have smoked most of the cigarette, not let it burn for 5 minute between each drag).

Im talking about the ammount of nicotine that enters your bloodstream here.

No one really knows. There are too many variables. All anyone can tell you is that your body absorbs nicotine from vapor differently than it absorbs nicotine through cigarette smoke -- far more slowly, and with far less emphasis on the lungs. There are a couple of equivalency charts floating around from vendors who wish to direct former smokers to a given strength of nicotine juice, but they're inexact at best, and terribly misleading at worst.

May I ask why you're asking? Maybe we can give you a more useful answer if we understand the context that gave rise to the question.

(EDIT: I can tell you that in my personal experience, 1 mL of 24mg juice is roughly equivalent to 6-7 cigarettes. That's purely a measure of what I consumed before and how much I vape now. That estimate is not a measure of how much nicotine satisfaction I draw/drew from each amount, because I have no way of knowing exactly how they correlate in those terms. All I know is that I used to smoke more than two packs per day, and now I vape approximately 6 mL of juice per day, on average.)

There really isn't a good answer to that. The general consensus is 18mg is comparable to a "standard full flavor cigarette". The amount per ml that enters the body is really unknown at this time since each body absorbs nicotine at a different rate. And vapor is absorbed differently than burnt tobacco. Vape until your satisfied. But be careful because there are toxic levels of nicotine (about 60mg dose for an adult). With 18mg you should be ok though.

You can 'overdose' on nicotine by vaping, but I think it's worth noting that the worst you're likely to experience is a little short-term nausea. Your body won't allow you to vape so much that you seriously hurt yourself, unless you're unknowingly vaping a ridiculously high concentration (like twice as high a concentration as anyone sells).

okay well.
The thing Is I thought i was maybe consuming MORE nicotine than when i was smoking cigarette.
I guess it doesnt make sense if I consider fulgurant's aproximation but I was smoking 50 cigarettes a day and I thought my 4ml of 18mg might have been more than that but I guess not.
I mean maybe I feel weird cuz Im getting less nicotine too lol I don't know.

Yeah, some of the symptoms for overdosing are similar to the symptoms of withdrawal, unfortunately. As long as you don't feel too awful, I would suggest just sticking with it. Use common sense, obviously. Also make sure to keep hydrated. The first few days are the hardest.

Here's a breakdown of some of the symptoms for your reference, but I don't know how useful it is in practice: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ing-your-symptoms-while-adjusting-vaping.html

Here is my writeup on the information I found (I'm no writer, and this is my honest opinion on my take on it), not sure how much enters your bloodstream...but it's just another "chemical stimulant" like caffeine...what you ARE removing is the OTHER chemicals found in cigarettes, don't look at it as the nicotine you ARE getting, look at what you AREN'T getting

That's pretty common from my experience and with talking to others. You are trying to meet the experience (psychological and physiological) that you would get from a cigarette with something completely different. Give it time and stick with it, it gets easier. Like fulgurant said, the first few days are the toughest.

I've been reading posts on ECF for a couple of months, & vaping (started with the overpriced "Green Nicotine" brand, which I found tasteless & unsatisfying) for about 2 yrs. now. Have tried numerous flavors & brands, Joyetech 510T up to Evods at present. I've always gotten the highest nic level I could find (24 mg.) & it just can't seem to replace a real cigarette! I vape more than I smoke (had really hoped to quit!), but it just doesn't seem to be enough. I was SO addicted to cigs that I would wake up at night just to smoke! But I was only smoking 1-1.5 pks day. Vaping REALLY HAS helped alot, but isn't a complete "cure" for me. I'm now looking to DIY to get higher levels of nic (& get better flavor, cut costs, etc.). The world of vaping, with all it's unfamiliar terminology, is enough to make one want a cig! This forum is so huge & varied that reading it all could be a full time job. But without it, & all you wonderful people posting much needed info, I'd really be screwed! Thank you all, & if anyone has some helpful feedback for me............
