I got a bunch of stuff in the mail today that I had ordered.. Resistance (ohm) checker, tools, kanthal (10 feet of 32 ga. And 5 feet of 28 ga.) and I've been playing with rebuilding coils in my kanger t3s tanks
After many different tries, I got two that I like but I have some questions. One is a microcoil (9 wraps of 28 ga.) and at 1.4 ohm vapes at 8.5 watts it delivers intense flavor but my vapor cloud is not that big. Liquid is a 50/50 mix. The other is just an evenly spaced wrap of 32 ga and at 2.4 ohm, and vaped at 8.5 watts I get a much bigger cloud but much less flavor.
Is this typical? I've heard the terms Flavor Chaser and Cloud Chaser tossed around. So is it true that if u have a bigger cloud u get less flavor?
Only been vaping about 3 weeks or so and I'm still learning a lot. Been playing with my ohms law calculator I downloaded to my iPhone and getting a good feel for it, as I have a nemisis clone and a patriot clone rda on the way along with some sony vtc5 batteries, a charger, and more coil building tools. (Yeah I saved all the money I would have spent on cigs and then spent it all two days ago!) I wanna be able to get the best of both world in the mech mod. Clouds don't need to be extreme but I want big clouds that taste great..
I'm having a blast though at vaping and am loving this new hobby! Also how do you post pics on here?
