Hi,
New to the forum, but not really to vaping. I have been buying red dragon carts at the tobacco store and then filling them with either 50% pg/vg or now just with 100% pg. I know red dragon only uses pg in its carts so I figured they would last longer.

Any way, I decided to buy some carts from .......... to save money. After getting them, I used the drip method and added my 100% pg liquid to it. After letting the liquid sit over night, I checked it periodically the next day to ensure it was saturated. So after figuring it was, I tried using it and everything seems to be working fine, except there is no vapor to exhale. If I draw vapor into my mouth, everything is fine, but after inhaling and exhaling there is no vapor there. I don't have this problem when I refill red dragon carts so I figure I am doing something wrong. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Vapor is juice related.....pg usually gives you more taste but not much vapor...vg lightens up slighly on taste but gives huge vapor....

I doubt you're doing anything wrong, reasons for the lack of vapor could be numerous really. From voltage and ohm of atty combination to too much flavoring in the juice which can effect things (it is rare but something that I have experienced) and then there is simply bad juice as well. I can't speak for the particular juice you're using but I would recommend getting some normal ohm cartomizers if you're using a cig style device, be that a 510 or 808, there are cartomizers for these which allows for holding more juice than a cartridge does, last a decent amount of time and are very cheap per box of 5. 70/30 PG/VG is fine for these too and as stated above, the VG will give you more vapor and it will linger longer visually which is always gratifying.

Most people use blends, often high PG blends since thinner juices work for all methods of vaping

PG - thin, lets through the most flavor, most nicotine TH, most nicotine irritation, makes thin vapor
VG - thick, dulls everything PG lets through, makes thicker more persistent vapor

Even 10% VG in a juice will add some nice vapor that lasts longer. I use simple stuffing cartomizers and prefer PG w/ 10-20% VG for good cartomizer life. Tanks and reservoir cartos generally like 30% VG or less though some thinner 50/50's may work. Normal atomizer can use any PG/VG as long as it flows at least as fast as you vape.
