Vapor4Life inventory question

I received all my new toys today (the VK, the 510 and all my juices from V9). I'm very excited and love them all so far. I think they will all serve a specific purpose in my life.

I have convinced my mother to try the VK. I'm giving it to her for Christmas. She is a menthol smoker. Misty is the brand...she says its a very light menthol. Any V4L recommendations for a light menthol flavor that she may like?

Also, I wanted the 24mg Cowboy e juice. It did not show on the website. Does anyone know what day V4L's new inventory comes in so I can keep an eye out for it.

I couldn't find empty cartos either (for my own e juice). Are those available at V4L or another website that would fit the VK?

I love my Vapor King but I'm not a menthol lover so I can't help you.

Hey catmommy, V4L has just recently(and I mean today recently) begun to carry empty carts...If you click on the super sale link you will see them towards the bottom. I cannot speak to the light methol flavor carts, but I am sure someone else will come along with an answer. V4L's inventory seems to be growing and I never know when more items will be coming in, but if you check there subforum they are pretty good about posting when they have new supplies or you could be like me and check the site at least once daily...LOL

I smoked Misty Light Menthol 120's for years (since they came out with them--however long that is), and I do not think that there *is* an e-juice that tastes just like it--or anything else, really.

When we smoke, we get the taste of the burning leaves with the menthol. With e-juices, we just get the menthol.

If there is an e-juice that tastes like burning leaves, I haven't found it yet.

Now, bear in mind that when I smoked, I could not abide anything other than *my* brand. Everyone else's cigarettes that I might smoke tasted truly vile. So I do remember clearly when I was first starting with vaping that it seemed very important to me to mimic the taste of my Mistys as much as possible.

It is not.

The first cartomizers i got were menthol, and I didn't like them. Then I got a 401 and moved up through the model-numbers and discovered Cool Rush and Mentha juices, and menthol crystals/drops, and Lorann's Creme de Menthe flavoring, and discovered that even though those juices were mighty fine, there is a whole world of other flavors out there...and I can taste them now, so I am going to enjoy them. I do not miss my Mistys one bit. That is the greatest shock of this whole experience, I think.

For your mom, I would get some of the menthol cartomizers, or even get some blank ones and fill them with a pleasant tobacco flavor that you have added menthol to (it's really cheap and a little goes a long way.) For the tobacco flavor, *I* prefer Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured, because it doesn't taste "green" to me--it has a warm, nutty flavor. A nice 555 would work well for that, too--in fact, I think I saw menthol 555 cartomizers, I just don;t remember where.

But also get something completely different for her to try. That is half the fun. I like to mix up blackberry brandy or butter rum from Lorann's.

I am not sure what model a Vapor King is, but if it is a KR808d-1 (or whatever that mess of numbers is) Nhaler has some nice flavors. I just had a Litchi. It was really nice. Tomorrow is mango

Welcome CatMommy! I can't help you with the menthol question, never been a fan. As far as inventory, they get new shipments in constantly. They post most if not all of them here in the sub forums and also update the site as they get the new items in so stalking the site isn't a bad idea either! Due to customs I don't think they can reliably tell you when a shipment is going to be available. I'm just a noob myself but that's what I've noticed.

I'm Canadian and therefore have never ever heard of let alone tasted these Misty cigarettes you mention but I have been a menthol smoker for 23 years. The only 2 flavors of cartomizers I have tried from V4L so far have been Menthol and Cool so those are the only ones I can give you reviews for at the moment.

The menthol had a very good menthol taste to it. Not too strong but not too weak either.

The Cool tasted a lot like mint cookies with a splash of chocolate. Much lighter menthol taste and a bit sweeter but another great taste to vape. I also absolutely LOVED the smell of the cool. That small amount of vapor that floats out at the end of a puff smells great and it even got to the point that between puffs I would hold the e-cig up to my nose just to smell it more

Thank You all! This information is extremely helpful and I will get my mother many different 0mg flavors.

My biggest concern is that I don't want a flavor to overwhelm her as I want her to enjoy vaping (smoking for her is not even a nic thing as she's can quit for a year with no problem and then goes back to it).

So I guess my question really is (based on the fact that she told me the Misty's were very light):

Which V4L cart menthol flavor is the lightest?

Welcome Catmommy! Hmm, lightest menthol flavor? The Cowboy Menthol and the Menthol are very close in taste. But I'd say they are quite yummy. Personally, I do prefer the mint. If you're looking for something light and minty, I understand the ice cream is minty. If you're looking for true menthol, I'd go with either of the menthols I mentioned above. Perhaps you can try her on some of the fruit flavors if she wants something light - Pear is very light and flavorful. Hope that helps ..

If your mom likes a light menthol, may I suggest the mint? My niece smoked menthol lites, and she said the menthol cartomizer was too harsh a taste, even in the lower strength 11mg. But she loves the mint flavor. She says it really tastes more like menthol than the menthol does, LOL. I used to smoke an occasional Misty Lite Menthol, and I think the mint carto is pretty good. It has a nice, light, refreshing taste, but it's not overwhelming. Of course, there is really no such thing as an exact match, because we're not burning tobacco leaves.

I also recommend the pear. It's the closest to the real fruit flavor IMO. Tastes like you just bit into a fresh, juicy pear. Same with the pineapple, apple, and watermelon. Everyones tastes vary, of course, and your mom's tastes will change after she's been vaping for awhile. Our tastebuds really wake up after we get off the analogs.

Glad you talked her into trying the Vapor King; I'm sure she'll love it.

I don't have Spearmint from V4L, but I do have the liquid (before I found this vendor), and it tastes like spearmint gum. I like it. So I would suggest trying that one as well. The spearmint tastes sweet, whereas the mint has only a slight hint of sweetness. I'm not sure if this is true for the V4L spearmint, but I'm guessing it is.

I may be looking to trade a whole bunch of 0mg cart flavors my mother doesn't like...LOL...

My wife was a Misty smoker for a long time. She liked the Cowboy Menthol. I had Cool, Cowboy Menthol and Nuport for her to try. Of course, she has now completely gone off the reservation and almost exclusively vapes on Chocolate and Almond Joy.

As a Kool smoker, I actually found the Nuports to be the menthol I like the best.

I was going to leave the Cowboy Menthol out thinking it may be to strong a flavor for my mother. But seeing as how your wife smoked the same brand and enjoyed it, I will get it and let her give it a try.

I'm thinking my Mother's Christmas gift is going to be quite a budget buster this year...but well worth it if she gets off the analogs.

I just got my cowboy menthol's today, they are tasty and not to strong for me. I have the 18mg. I was down to less than a pack of Kool's a day, but I'm vaping way more than that.

I am another newbie and have been vaping with my VK for 2 weeks now. I smoked menthol lights for 30 years. I like the cool cartomizers. I tried the cowboy menthol and the menthol and they were a bit strong in the menthol for me. I like a more light menthol taste so I added drops of the RY4 to the cart once I had vaped some out and it toned down the menthol taste quite nicely for me - so you may want to get a bottle of reg juice to add to carts if they turn out to be too much. I have also found that I really like the coffee with a drop or 2 of cappaccino added. Very tasty. I am also really liking the RY4 with a touch of the menthol juice added. Makes a nice smooth menthol. Refilling can be your friend! You can try your own blends to taste.
