I received my package around lunch today. Haven't smoked a cigarette since then and I'm a pack-and-a-half-a-day full-flavored smoker. I didn't even really try to avoid them, I just didn't need one. Anyway, on to the review.
The V4L KR808D-1 IS a great starter choice, in my opinion. I choose on of the higher end kit that came with two auto batteries, 15 cartos, a usb passthrough, a usb charger, and a wall charger. So I can charge both my batteries at once, that's nice. The performance of the PV is variable, since some juices are just horrible and produce almost no vapor. (Pumpkin pie and Egg nog) However I found a few that produce INSANE amounts of vapor with great taste as well. (Parliament menthol, most notably) I found the battery life was pretty exceptional for being straight out of the box. One battery lasted me about 7 hours of nearly nonstop vaping.
The only thing I've run into so far as a problem is some cartos fit on my batteries, but not on my passthrough, or vice versa. I guess you can't expect a perfect starter kit, but it's a little disappointing.
It's hard to give the kit an actual number rating, since performance varied so much from juice to juice. I do, however, believe that most weak points were just the composition of the juice.
Overall I'm definetely satisfied with my purchase, next up: eGo.
