I received my package around lunch today. Haven't smoked a cigarette since then and I'm a pack-and-a-half-a-day full-flavored smoker. I didn't even really try to avoid them, I just didn't need one. Anyway, on to the review.

The V4L KR808D-1 IS a great starter choice, in my opinion. I choose on of the higher end kit that came with two auto batteries, 15 cartos, a usb passthrough, a usb charger, and a wall charger. So I can charge both my batteries at once, that's nice. The performance of the PV is variable, since some juices are just horrible and produce almost no vapor. (Pumpkin pie and Egg nog) However I found a few that produce INSANE amounts of vapor with great taste as well. (Parliament menthol, most notably) I found the battery life was pretty exceptional for being straight out of the box. One battery lasted me about 7 hours of nearly nonstop vaping.

The only thing I've run into so far as a problem is some cartos fit on my batteries, but not on my passthrough, or vice versa. I guess you can't expect a perfect starter kit, but it's a little disappointing.

It's hard to give the kit an actual number rating, since performance varied so much from juice to juice. I do, however, believe that most weak points were just the composition of the juice.

Overall I'm definetely satisfied with my purchase, next up: eGo.

Reason I stopped buying from them. Never have a cart problem with anyone else.

well to each its own i have never received a cart like that and the threads being off have alsways only been really minor to me just a small gap that i twisted right on... there carts are great to me and have outperfromed any other carts i have used i am sure there are others out there comparable but i havnt come across them yet. just like there are other Kr808 devices but i havent seen one as fine as the vapor king...

You shouldn't have to do anything. Nothing simpler then a go-nogo gauge at the factory. I've had carts from them with no threads at all. If you can't do threads it makes me wonder what else you can't do. Don't need the headache.

Like what? I find this interesting since Vapor4Life, VaporNine, and at least a couple of other well known suppliers buy from the same places in China.

It's not about the origination of a product. IMO it's all about the performance. V4L is offering a older technology in a battery that puts out 180-300 MAH. The Ego,Riva, and Hello 016 all outperform the 808 at a similar price point. I'm with 5cardstud...The Buzz is my device of choice right now....everything else is collecting dust.

Where are the better carts? I have the no fit prob sometimes too. I have been getting their Cool carts and Premium.

I've never had a problem threading on a 510 carto since converting from the 808. It seems V4L has quality control issues. I bought over 100 blanks from V4L a while back, and none of them threaded correctly. I won't go into detail, but after that V4L was in my rear view mirror.

You're talking about batteries. I thought this thread was about defective cartomizers! I've ordered cartomizers from five different suppliers and every now and then, some are defective. I don't fault the suppliers though. Hopefullly, we'll start to see advancements in the manufacturing of cartos. Until then, I'll continue to buy blank cool carts and premiums from V4L.

yea there talking batteries and totally different types of e-cigs.....

i dont want a 510, 801, 910, 999,846,117,000,111,999,777,abc, dej.....etc...

I like the Kr808 and the finest one is V4L

V4L is a company built for me and for people like me....who dont want to switch different ecig some peolpe like to "collect" different models and all that i dont i want... so a company that sells and specializes in one model does alot of market research on that one model is great ...
one of the many things that sat well with me was something i saw here on the forum when everyone was going 2nd generartion carto crazy and come to find out V4L had exclusive rights but then turned them down after testing because they were not what all the hype made them out to be or what they hoped they would be....

for me thats great...

but like i said to each his own...i am completely happy with them this fitting problem is very minor to me twist it on and it works fine...
compared to all the atomizer problems i am seeing with other brands ...having to clean them with denture tabs and all of them not working at the same time for whatever reason ....i dont have time for that....

V4L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO i guess ur right ...there marketing, product, and customer service...

cause i know if i do get a batch or even a single cartomizer or batery or whatever that is defective in anyway all i have to do to fix it is an email and a quick note in the comment box on my next order.....
